may be... but its an idea after all... it shows still how close is the relationship between the two countries even after the recent hiccups, that someone can think of such a thing...

I don't think the Navy would need that, considering that Sagarika is already being prepared. If Bulava can offer a longer range permitting our forces to strike Beijing and Shanghai, then it would be possible but MTCR makes that impossible. So Bulava is not a possibility. Or else we could simply modify BrahMos to strike 2,000 Km.

Bulava does have a much longer range than both the K-4 & the K-15 SLBMs being developed by the DRDO...

^^ Then it is simply pointless and redundant. BTW even if India gets the Death Star for free, it won't have the balls to fight with even Maldives.. forget nuking China in response. Our military is governed by a bunch of foreign-funded f*cks who are traitors to this country. Before we conquer the enemy outside, we must destroy the enemy within. A wise man has said so.

The K series SLBM are already in testing phase. India will not look into another slbm. Besides as mentioned above MTCR restricts Russia. Russia can pass on the technology secretly but a joint venture like Brahmos will not happen with Bulava.

Way too bad idea for Indian end. Jumping in middle of troubled program isnt going to frurify much when blood is raging high for the succcess of K-series. Why russians think that their every other toy can be sold to India??

^^ Because we are their largest customers and lack a decent defence infrastructure even after 63 years of independence. There is plenty of evidence to prove that statement, so let's not waste this thread.

K-series is good enough and will meet the requirements of our navy but even if Russia wanted to sell it to us, it cannot due to its MTCR signatory status. China on the other hand is bound to no such treaty and hence freely transfers missiles to any country it wants.

Given sufficient necessity & political will, India can join MTCR group. Although, that is no requirement here. Indian Missile program is pretty much matured & bringing in Bulava for IN is an absurd idea at its best. NX32 can not be 'transformed' into Indo-Russian SLBM, it can just be sold.

Wake up Russian strategists :)faint2:), Indian critical industry base & supply line is getting more sophisticated everyday. Rather concentrate more on next 5 shots.....

How the hell did he arrive at this weird theory ?? IT seems he forgot all about the MTCR in the heat of the discussion ! :)
The K-4 and the K-15 are good enough for our requirements, and we should keep working on them to make them better.
