Britain stifles freedom of speech, US allows

While Britain spares no effort at pontificating to the rest of the world, they themselves have struck a blow to the very essence that they claim to uphold - freedom of speech.

Britains master, the United States, has the moral edge, as these ads are allowed to be posted publicly. However, US media, suspected by many to be closely controlled by the US government, had jumped onto yet another round of RT bashing exercise, as they cannot, legally, stifle freedom of speech guaranteed by the First Amendment to the US Constitution.

It was described as "provocative" by The Huffington Post, which added that it was "a serious dig at the way the US media reported on the Iraq war."
"[With these ads RT] tries to persuade New Yorkers to view it as an alternative to American channels," The New York Times wrote.
