The recent news going around says that, USA will maintain sizeable army in Afghan.
USA also has assets and business interest with the sand people..and the only way by which USA can sustain the pressure on these deals with the sand people is by projecting RAW power. USA will never create a vaccum IN EFFECT for others.
USA wont pull out of Afghan no matter what is said in the political lines...Its all optics for the running up to the US elections.

India has sustained and thrived in Afghan when the USA and pakistan both teamed up against India in ME. The presence of USA is not going to matter much for India in its position as many news media outlets are pouting. IMO, its not going to alter Indian position at all.

India should continue doing the silent diplomacy all over the ME and Afghan and do what it does best as always.

How long NATO is going to fund Afghanistan govt? If they want to survive against Taliban, they need sustainable development and revenue generation in Afghanistan. Money is everything in Afghanistan.

US is spending 50 billions USD every year . But our total investment in Afghanistan since 2001 is 2-3 billions USD and mostly in civil infrastructure projects . Afghanistan goverment desperately needs revenue generating projects.

China helped Pakistan to withstand every trouble & hobble and mde it able to contain India to significant degree today. India remains engaged in neighborhood, gets contained and isn't able to throw its weight to full extent.
Imagine if Afghanistan was stable & capable, they would have nullified Pak for us to great extent.

Fun Fact USA spends $ 62 billion in Afghanistan this year more than the budget of MoD of India ,they can do it because they make it out of thin air which is dollar put a debt for future generations to pay,India can't do much but still can protect our assets in Afghanistan ,when doling out such aid in dollars india wants bang for its buck so just $ 2 billion dollars have achieve so much but for worst case scenario it is rumored that we have air base in turkmenistan
