September 7 is the day that Brazil traditionally celebrates its Independence Day, claimed by the Emperor Dom Pedro I at the banks of Ipiranga river in São Paulo City in September 7, 1822 louding "Independence or death!". This year the date is a special one since Brazil is reaching 200 years as an independent country. Furthermore, Brazil is living a heavy polarization climate due to the Presidential election's campaign and the date was utilized by the current President Jair Bolsonaro to promote himself among a coup d'etat fear feelings since he is behind the former President Luis Inacio Lula da Silva in the run.

Happy Independence Day Brazilians!!! Please save the Amazon forest. It is your greatest treasure and asset.
Brazil needs save the Amazon forest, but it needs to preserve if he wants, what forest's parts he wants and how many areas he wants, this is a national environmentism, and not to preserve because the Europeans or Americans want, this is the ecological imperialism.

We need to develop ourselves also, for this a bit of deforestation is unavoidable.

Global liberal media hates Bolsonaro as much as Modi if not more, probably on par with their antipathy for Trump. And from the cursory glance I've paid to events in your country you seem to have the same problem of an unaccountable and unelected judiciary which is more like a globalist controlled fifth column.

You're right. Brazil lives under a juristocracy, that is, the power balance currently is inclinated toward the judiciary. Bolsonaro passed through all his mandate offencing and provoking the magisters of Brazilian Supreme Court (STF).

And Bolsonaro admirates Trump. Due this somepeople fears he will imitate Trump in his raid against Congress. Some people like to say what happens in USA, happens in Brazil two years later.

Yes development is needed but the whole world needs the rain forest too. As we hold the US and EU responsible for the global warming with their past emissions, we have to do our part in preserving our forests as a way to preserve our oxygen producing organs of the world.

Dont buy this lie that Amazon forest is the world's breath. The oxygen produced by the forest is consumpted by the own forest, so the net product is near zero. Most of world oxygen is produced by the phytoplankton of oceans.

Brazil preserves its accorded quota, but what American and Europens want is Brazil preserve their ecological quota also. This lie, that Amazon is the world's breath, is utilized by the ecological imperialism of North countries to brake our development and keep our dependence on their goods and technologies.

While here the Indian Naval Band of INS Tarkash played Brazilian popular songs in public performance at the Museum of Tomorrow, in Rio de Janeiro City. In honor of the 75th anniversary of the Independence of India and the Bicentennial of the Independence of Brazil.

Which was our band playing in this video ?

Should read this thread, eerie similarities to the 2020 US election. 'Right wing strongmen' not going after their enemies with a vengeance and doing what needs to be done seems to be a global problem. @IBSA

My opinion about what will happens hereafter in Brazilian politics.

Bolsonaro lost the elections, by very little difference in votes, practically by half and half, but he still hasn't pronounced himself admitting defeat. He now is the Brazilian President who most last to pronounce himself after an election. Nor did he blame the electoral fraud as he had been planning since year's begin.

At the same time, truck drivers are closing highways in several states, and say they will not lift the blocks for the next 72 hours accusing the election's results be frauded. The threat of food and fuel shortages in cities has already led to loots on markets.

Bolsonaro must remain silent, for now, and not publicly admit defeat. To admit would be to send the message to the militancy that the election was clean and fair, and to release them from the blockades. On the other hand, accusing fraud would force you to prove it. It's not even that I think he doesn't have evidence, or that the Brazilian electronic polls are really safe, but if the software used is American technology from Oracle company, proving fraud would hit the US directly.

If Bolsonaro wants to annul the elections with allegations of fraud and attempt a 2nd term with a new election, he has to prove to the System that he serves him better than Lula, and not irritate it, embarrass it, proving that American technology is flawed. So he won't accuse fraud either. The work of accusing fraud will be left to the Bolsonaro's militancy, the truck drivers, the 50% who voted for Bolsonaro. But the system prefers Lula himself. Bolsonaro served the banks with Economy Ministry Paulo Guedes keeping interest rates high and with the policy of aggressive privatization of state-owned companies. But Bolsonaro went against the system when he wanted to defy international law on the environmental agenda, and then in the pandemic, on the health agenda, when he did not buy vaccines. Lula serves the system much more, because with economic advisors Henrique Meirelles, Armínio Fraga, etc., all them very Chicago's Boys as Paulo Guedes, in government he will keep the same fat profits of financial capitalism, while he will certainly comply with all international agreements in the environmental area, pleasing also the green capitalism , as well as implementing the policies recommended by the WHO in the area of health, pleasing the Big Pharma.

As a matter of fact, Lula has the poor in his hand. Libtards will be able to implement whatever austerity policies they want, and the poor will not react and rebel, because they are obedient to Lula. If Lula says that austerity is good for them, they will believe and follow the leader.

Bolsonaro will continue in strategic silence, does not admit defeat or accuses fraud. He will take advantage of the last months of government to practice his last evils against the Workers Party (PT), to have his personal revenge, promoting uproar, but it does not prove fraud. Or rather, it will try to prove fraud on the basis of the militancy's cry. The cry of fraud will be the water in the PT's beer, the stamp on Lula's banner. Temer ruled with the guise of a coup fighter, for the PT cry, which never proved a coup; Bolsonaro ruled with the guise of fascist, genocidal, for the PT cry, which they never proved either; and Lula will govern with the guise of being fraudulent for the cry of the Bolsonaro's fans.

For if Bolsonaro really proves fraud, the US, angry, will order to arrest him. Not because of 'genocide', 'coup d'Etat attempt', etc. And Bolsonaro, losing his privileged forum with the end of the presidency, certainly does not want that.

Perhaps, at the end of his term, pressured by the USA, High Court, Congress, which is now preparing itself to meet the wants of the new elect government of Lula, against the turmoil promoted by the Bolsonaro's voters, he will resign for reasons of a "higher order", so as not to have to hand over to Lula the presidential banner and leave power acclaimed by the people moved by Myth's resignation.

The 3rd round of Brazilian elections started Octover, 31 and goes until December, 31, the last day in office of Bolsonaro.

So what about the other 50% that voted for Lula? Don’t they get any say? How does that set the tone for the next elections? Lula’s supporters will do the same thing and then the entire country would plunge into civil war. Bolsonoro is being reckless here. He is risking actual open civil warfare.
