exactly mate i find it quite annoying when some person starts bragging about the lack of BPJs and Kevlar helmets available to our C.A.P.F.s out of nowhere!what they don't understand is that our climate doesn't permit us to wear all those bulky B.P.J.s(weighing more than 10kgs) all the time.plus our jawans wear them only when they feel that the mission requires them to wear those accessories.I dont think Playing holi and patrolling a undisturbed border needs bullet proof vests,, be updated dude when you are posting in DFI. Not only BSF but every Paramilitary force in India has Bullet proof vests,,, considering the climate and the amount of rage and guts our forces have ,, we dont need a bullet proof vest for petty days...,,, and for your information Bullet proof vests were provided to them in 2010,,, here is a link that will grow your general knwoledge Bulletproof jackets: Govt to float int`l proposals
I am amazed that we always criticize our forces without any reason,,, @Blackwater please dost ,,, dont like these posts,,, dont lower your value in DFI,,,,
but one thing that i am quite disappointed about is the lack of availibility of level 3 Kevlar helmets to our C.A.P.F.s,these things are quite a life saver in a fire fight!those steel helmets that our jawans wear don't offer protection even against the basic 9 mm round!i wish our H.M. will solve this problem verry soon as our jawans deserve all the best equipment available in the market!
