Bomb blast kills 2, wounds 100 in central China

BEIJING: A bomb exploded at an apartment in central China, killing two people and wounding at least five children at a nearby kindergarten, a Hong Kong-based human rights monitoring group said on Saturday.

Photos of Friday's blast posted online showed a gaping hole in the lower floor of a nondescript apartment block in the city of Nanyang in Henan province.

The Information Center for Human Rights and Democracy said the bomb detonated at 11 a.m. Friday, killing two people immediately and critically injuring two others. More than 100 residents were injured, the group said without citing the source of its information.

A nurse at the Nanyang Traditional Medicine Hospital, who would not give her name because she was not authorized to talk to the media, said five children and a teacher from a local kindergarten were injured by the blast. She said their injuries were not serious.

Officials at the Nanyang government office and police department said they were unaware of the incident.

Fears of unrest have risen as China's economy slows because of the global financial crisis with at least 20 million migrants out of work.

Seriously this bomb blast is nothing compare to what they do with the Tibetans in Tibet these days. See I was to post this thread about what's going on in Tibet after what happened on march 10th last year. But somehow I had fail to do that so! So mind as copy and paste it here instead. I'm not sure if you guys had hear about this news or not but now days Tibetans inside Tibet are suffering! CCP is badly killing our innocent people as if they are some kind of nasty sea food that they eat. Tibetans all over the world decided not to celebrate this year Tibetan Losar/New Year due to this issue! It's very sad guys!! I also feel sorry for those chinese that were kill or injured in this incident as well. I think before its too late chinese better do something or change their attitude towards Tibetan people and specialy Dalai Lama. Pretty soon they will regrade what they did and would have to pay for their price! Ok here's the news that I copy and paste from ZOMSA.COM! I have just met a Tibetan guy who could make it here Kathmandu from Lhasa yesterday. He was in Lhasa from 8th to 19 of March, so he witnessed the Chinese brutality in Lhasa. All the Tibetans who dare going out are caught by the Chinese police. Now all the prisons in Tibet are full and they are transporting many Tibetans to China. Dead bodies are piled in prison cells with people who are still alive. Many of them are heavily wounded but none of them is getting any medical treatment. Many people are dying miserably slow death in prison cells. Some people committed suicide knowing that they would be killed inhumanly by the Chinese. Tibetans are tied up in lines at police stations in Lhasa and the police are doing all kinds of inhuman things on them. Human blood is flowing at all the police stations like slaughter houses. Even more horrible thing is that all the limbs of all the Tibetans who are caught by the Chinese are broken. Some Tibetans with all of their limbs broken were dropped at the door steps of their families. Many Tibetans think it's better to be dead than alive with all limbs broken. Now Tibetans live in walls and constant fear. Police are searching protesters door by door everyday. Some of them even can't get inside as they don't have proper papers. Every street and door are guarded by the police. All the monasteries around Lhasa are sealed and nobody is allowed to go in and out so people are running out of food supplies and starving but the Chinese only care about their so called stability and harmony. Yesterday they invited some Chinese brainwashed media persons in Lhasa to show how harmonious they are and how calm Lhasa city has become with all the Tibetans sealed inside walls. Many Tibetans suspect that the Chinese killed lots of people one night in front of Jokhang temple as there was constant gunfire whole night long and tanks were running all around.

So do you think the Chinese are harmonious enough to deserve an international game for peace? Don't you think you have moral responsibilities for your fellow humans who are dying for simply expressing their views? Don't you think you are silently supporting the brutality of China by just sitting there without saying anything at this moment?

So, please voice for the voiceless inside walls!!!
Stand up for those who can't at the brutal gun point!!!
Boycott Beijing Olympics for world peace!!!

Tibetan wants full independence but His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the government of exile thinks its a bad idea. His Holiness thinks Tibet independent is like wet dream so mind as we follow his middle way path where chinese government can rule the nation and Tibetans should just settle with TAR region without any power of our own nation. This leads to dividing the nation as well; where chinese are also taking half parts of major Tibet's land. Both Kham and Amdo/Xinjhang region. Amdo is His Holiness's hometown and its boarder with both China and Turkistan.

Tibetan youth congress has always wanted full independent since 1960s when the youth 1st started their party after 1940-50 occupation. Youth congress used to be the party call: Drokham Tsuchikhamdo and later in early 60s they change it to youth congress. The 1st organizers were the one who fought themselves to death before chinese took over. They were the Khampas from eastern Tibet who always wished for full independence and protect their nation as best as they could. They were the once who brought His Holiness the Dalai Lama to India safely.

All in all very complicated situation and issue! But guess what? Is there such a nation where they've no land but has their government running outside their nation! Is there such a thing where people can live a normal life and walk parallel with any other people in world even after not having their own country? Is there anybody out there in the world who lost their nation and yet are the most happy creature on this earth!

Is there anybody out there who's in same shoes as Tibetans?

NO!


So lets just expect for the worst and hope for the best!

By the way 200 members of CCP are Tibetans itself from Tibet!

I would imagine because of the latter. I have credible reports- largely undisseminated- from Western and non-Chinese sources confirming that there are anywhere between 120 and 250 public protests, riots or demonstrations involving in excess of a hundred people in China every day. The Economist confirms through grassroots sources that there were 74,000 protests in the year 2004 alone involving more than 3.7 million people; up from 10,000 in 1994 and 58,000 in 2003. The Guardian, in an article written by Jonathan Watts, makes reference to no fewer than 230 riots daily in 2005- all involving the use of violence and an estimated head-count of in excess of 100 participants. And to make matters worse, the Chinese government has now itself acknowledged that its North West is a dangerous powder keg waiting to explode. Ofcourse, prior to this statement, none of these daily acts of violence and unrest were ever acknowledged in chinese official media, as a consequence of which a greater picture of stability was portrayed - a catalyst for greater investment no doubt- than actually was the case.
