Not to forget that a movie like "Slumdog Millionaire" that perpetuated the worst stereotypes about India was "celebrated" by many retard Indians. It's song used for election campaign by Congress.
"India's daughter" was the most disgusting thing I have seen the BBC do (so far). It was designed from the outset by the director (Leslie Udwin) to defame India and promote a totally false narrative.

CMI - Every Peace Matters - CMI - Every Peace Matters

Our former president is specialized in peace brokering. Maybe he could help Indians achieve peace with themselves...Namaste!
We had the concept of peace for thousands of years before you people came out of your caves, my friend. We are the land of Krishna, Buddha and Guru Nanak.

BBC has a problem with us due to colonial mentality. I really don't see what is causing you to get so upset to post unrelated trolling statements here.

In USA, nobody trusts BBC news , CNN news and consider FOX news as crazy and stupid. The average IQ of people watching Fox news is below 90 and their favorite food are potato chips and budweiser beer. Smart people and most of young college students get their news form various internet sites now. RT.COM, SPUTNIK INTERNATIONAL, VICE NEWS , GLOBAL TIMES, ASIA TIMES etc are gaining more and more market share esp among young and smart Americans.
I prefer international news from NIKKEI, RT, France 24 and of course our DD News (which is the best right now).

DD is the best. Short and sweet. Sticks to important news only.

RT sometimes says shit against India as well. But yes, it does expose immoral unethical news channels like BBC.
RT is far less biased against India as compared to CNN, Fox and BBC. For print media, you can add NYT, WaPo and LA Times who source their Indian news straight from The Wire or NDTV or scroll.

Until we allow the likes of Scroll, The Wire, Milli News and NDTV to thrive in India, we have no right to complain when foreign media houses leverage their connections in these channels and portray us badly. The Indian I&B ministry needs to issue arrest warrants against all editors of these print houses for information sabotage, in the same vein as Twitter was warned 2 months ago.

Information warfare comes under anti-terrorism laws and we have provisions that can easily put these entities on trial and have them imprisoned. The Anglo-saxons will never consider us 'fine' and will keep labelling us as 'dictators, backward, uncivilized, illiberal, non-democratic, etc. until they consume us from within with their stupid "mah human rights" anarchy.

India needs to learn to put her foot down.

Since the start of the pandemic, I am sorry to see PM Modi adopt a reconciliatory tone towards the enemies of the state in different parts of the political spectrum as well as in the media. This show of weakness puts us at risk. We need someone to come in with semi-authoritarian attitude and set things right.

BBC promotes poor study to claim Pakistan wished India well during Covid
K Bhattacharjee

7-8 minutes

The BBC and its penchant for painting a tolerant picture of Pakistan while denigrating India is well documented. On Friday, the British public broadcaster discovered a novel method to once again propagandize in Pakistan’s favour, albeit rather subtly.

So only western outlets are allowed to do propaganda? Is competing viewpoints to western narrative is a bad thing?

There is also western hypocrisy against RT news by calling it a state owned outlet. Why don't they say same thing about BBC, France 24, DW news, Voice of America? All are state owned propaganda outlets. If west does it its public owned media company but if others do it, its state owned media outlet.
BBC is financed directly by people who use a TV and pay a licence fee to the BBC, not the government.

Lol wut? :pound:

The annual television licence fee is set by the British Government, agreed by Parliament, and is used to fund the BBC's radio, TV, and online services covering the nations and regions of the UK.

The licence fee is classified as a tax and its evasion is a criminal offence.

If BBC isn't for the British State, then how come the government can force you to pay them for their "broadcasting service", without your consent?

Read its charter. It's independent of the state although the state sets the licence fee. It investigates and criticises the government as it chooses in the same way that private news agencies do.

Hahaha

"Welllll, the goberment literally owns us, but here read our charter where we say that we are MUHHH independent and MUHHH investigate and MUHHHH criticize the goberment"

Try this bullshit on someone who'll fall for it. Also:

An anonymous listener noticed the BBC has been “quietly editing repeats of shows over the past few years to be more in keeping with social mores.” In response, the BBC said “the vast majority of our audience” would want that. If true, that’s appalling.

In the age of streaming, this is a particularly thorny area, because, in the absence of widely distributed copies of now-archived material, when the BBC (or any broadcaster) makes “edits,” those edits effectively become permanent.

And it’s even more of a problem with the BBC, because the BBC is owned by the British government, which means its archives are publicly owned. The BBC says its listeners want edits, but, if so, why has it been making them in secret?

If, in an attempt to protect its reputation and placate the arbiters of taste, the BBC is incapable of curating and exhibiting its archives without attempting to bringing them “up to date,” then, as a matter of priority, they must be placed elsewhere.

Now I know that 'rights' are disapproved of by many here but I have one. I have a right to observe that racism is manifested in the posts of many here, people who I guess are mostly Indian. Care to point out where I have been racist? Care to point out where I have expressed hatred?

:rolleyes::rolleyes: ... and along comes another westerner lecturing Indians on racism. Will you stop using that word, along with nazi and hitler.. they have been done to death and some. If you cannot differentiate between a rant and racism, you should read through John Cleese's twitter and this article from the British version of Russia Today - https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-57099654 to know the difference.

I mean, you let brainless wokes take over your intellectual space, whose sole occupation is tagging people as racist, nazi and hitler on social media (besides the copious consumption of drugs) and now you follow suit thinking you are doing someone a favour by labeling anyone who disagrees with you, instead of uplifting your own marginalized citizens...... oh, and brexit too.

Now, they need to make corrections in their headlines.

Ofcourse they knew. It was a deliberate attempt to plant misinformation. Damage has been done. Leftist ecosystem has used this to promote their message. Congi IT cell has forwarded it countless times.

BBC should be banned in India for disturbing communal harmony and spreading fake news.
