Per initial reports, train derailed and was hit by a goods train.

News reports say it collided head on.

Like I said, wait for the official word.

This is from someone who is getting updates from the ground and it could 'change'.

Coromandel Express, which was going from Kolkata to Chennai, rammed into the derailed coaches of the Yashwantpur-Howrah Superfast express which was going from Bengaluru to Kolkata. Railway Ministry spokesperson Amitabh Sharma told NDTV.


Was the other train also derailed before the collision?

First the begaluru howrah sf express running on the downline got derailed and bogies got scattered on the upline. Coromondol express which was coming from upline collided with the derailed bogie. After coromondol got derailed it hit another goods train standing nearby. This is the sequence happened

Indian Railways are success story for this government and they will be targeted. I'm afraid 0.5 front will be getting ideas. I hate how evil they are. Satyapal Malik in recent interview said about possible terrorist attack in Ayodhya around new temple. (playing as enemy's hand and saying their stuff). Next year they have planned to go all out.
