Oh bhai I can make a website.

Wanted to create a website which keeps a record of missile tests done in india, since such information is not available on the net as far as we know. Can you help?

site will have info on NOTAM as well.
one can make subscription and he will or she will receive notification from website when the missile is being launched.
Missiles info section will have images and videos of test data.
Videos and images of latest test will be shown in side pane.

@FalconZero is there anyway we can have a map integration that can mark a given area? like we do in NOTAM thread.

Anyone that is interested is welcome suggest ideas and help building up the website.

also how are we supposed to add admin features on a website? Suppose we have a wikipedia like list that contains all the info about the particular missile test, it will be a mess to edit the source code every time to add new tables. We need a admin access module that can add new tables on the page without manually editing the Source page every time.

What is this thing called and what do we use for it.

how do we categorize the data in front page.

no one will want to scroll through 5 to 10 pages of just tables alone right.

Do we categorize the missiles year wise like we create tabs
1950 to 1955, 1955 to 1960, 1960 to 1965

once the visitor clicks on these tabs database will drop down displaying data of all the missiles launched during this period.

@Indx TechStyle had created a new wiki, perhaps that can be used instead of creating a new website.

every missile can have its own page with specs and development history.

trials data can be in a list within that page, as hyperlink if the table is too long.

We can make the site using Jekyll, host it for free on GitHub pages, all the pages about a particular missile can be in Markdown format, will be almost easy to write like forum posts
videos hosted on youtube, pictures on imgur.
for the site it can be a new domain altogether or a subdomain of this dfi website, we can add pages about other indigenous military hardware also

i already did that but with a different theme.
