I was scouring through the forums of the other side yesterday and came upon something interesting. Unfortunately, I failed to take screenshots. Essentially, the bastards from across the border and also the bastards within wanted to scour through Indian forums and use any post or thread that they can to defame us or cause a divide among communities. Please be careful on topics, especially ascertaining to religion, Kashmir etc.. which can be used as propaganda by the Rs.10 masses sitting in ISPR office.

The recent #boyslockeroom and #girlslockerroom hashtag are more than enough to prove that unlike in the past, any post that you make these days can be used against you.

This is just a general awareness post.

1. It has end to end encryption.
2. Your mobile number is not visible .
3. You can choose any name .
4.servers are situated outside India .
5. Data is stored in multiple servers spread across the globe in so it is very difficult to decide it.


Russians had to ban it because they could not control it ....but even banning it didn't work .

Folks, this is a public platform. Keep the level of discourse high. Try to stay on the upper levels of the pyramid.

Telegram gives a false sense of security. Location of servers is immaterial and its encryption is flawed.
The only truly secure chat app is Signal
