For the past 2 days, Azerbaijan has been attacking all directions from Omar to Araks Valley with hundreds of tanks but it has already lost up to 100 pieces of technical equipment. Propaganda i guess...AN-2 is a turbo prop ... can be shot down easily... why would some body choose it for Suicide mission.. better take a Boeing in true 9/11 style and crash land.. chance of few soldiers on ground getting Killed is more with Boeing than this AN-2..

Please, somebody, tell them wargaming doesn't mean making metal song. Anyway don't know about their military capability but they can be good metal/rock band ngl.
Also, so it seems this is the war/conflict where we have seen the most usage of uav/kamikaze drones in the shortest span of time, imo.

The rate at which tanks & APCs got cooked in two days, perhaps IA needs to fast track APS development & procurement.

Forget development and simply get atleast 1000 Trophy system for T-90s and 1000 for T-72 s and 500 for Whap/BMPs it will take less than 300 mn dollars to do so.

And spend more money on a fuel efficient 1500 hp engine which can fit on both T-72/90s .

By spending a couple bn dollar we can bring all tanks into a much better position.

UCAV's don't decide wars just like mines or anti aircraft guns., wish it was that easy to get an edge especially against bigger armies....These are worthy upgrades though especially engine.

APS system like Trophy are needed for our tanks to survive against modern upgraded tanks and ATGMs .

UCAVs are future , aerial power can turn defeat into victory . Israel is the living example .

Tanks will evolve and we already see s-350's, pantsirs and other antidotes that are being embedded with mech units apart from EW and other stuff.....this is just age old routine armor vs sword. If they had proper air force and heli's then launching pads will be located and taken out easily. They are useful but just like anything these threats will be neutralized pretty efficiently over time

Layered AD is already taking some potency out of air power and they are only going to get better with more computing power. Stand off weapons at hypersonic speed is probably how aerial fights will happen more and more combined with EW and other electronic measures and enhanced precision.

I think, if the war escalates, we can harbor some refugees. Mainly kids and women. Rather, only women. Especially in the 20-30 age group.
Will take some heat off of Modi's back for not providing Rohingyas shelter and we don't have to worry about military aged males.
