Ya'll Nibbiars Iran made its first official declaration about the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict. Saeed Khatibzadeh, Spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; "Iran is watching the military conflict between Azerbaijan & Armenia with concern and closely."

Ya'll Nibbiars this is a twist. Iran has been Armenia's closest ally since 1989, now I understand why Armenia just opened an Embassy in Israel.

Ya'll Nibbiars Artsakh denies Azerbaijan’s claims of seizing settlements. : Armenia has launched military attack across the entire front of the LoC & state border against Azerbaijan. Сausalities among civilian population & military personnel have taken place.

Ya'll Nibbiars more Turkish planes spotted.

My take on this issue:-

Background

So it all began with Nagorno-Karabakh conflict which is basically an ethnic and territorial conflict ( reminds me of Kashmir ) between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the disputed region of and seven surrounding districts which are controlled by the self-declared Republic of Artsakh ( European version of Gulam Kashmir??? ). There are no diplomatic relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan ( Kashm.... ) but a ceasefire agreement was signed in 1994 ( ...irrr ) but there has been several occurrences of ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan and several skirmishes and cyber attacks on Armenia ( again reminds me of Kashmir ). So basically apna wala matter hai.

What's our role?

Obviously we should not be silent on such a serious matter. Armenia has openly supported India's stand on the Kashmir issue several times and Azerbaijan is close to Turkey and Paxtan so we cannot trust them.

So should we provide military aid to Armenia??

Well if you ask me, I would say NO! it's not our fight and we should not try to become the next America! Armenia is a landlocked country and none of its neighbors will give us to passage to provide Armenia military stuff. its surrounded by 4 countries of which 3 are Pisslamic republics and only 1, Georgia, is a Christian majority country. But Georgia is slightly closer to Azerbaijan and can only help Armenia with humanitarian aid.

So what should we Do??

We should do what we have been doing for ages! that is to provide Armenia with humanitarian aids ( medicines, food, etc. ) and let the Kadi Ninda gang condemn Azerbaijan at the international stage ( but in a slightly aggressive tone )!

Ya nibba it not about pick up but about atleast dipolamatic support.
May be but no need to go against Azerbaijan unless they diplomatically campaign against us. Honestly I do not have that much knowledge on Indo Azeri or Indo Armenian relations....we need to go against turkey without upsetting neutral ones

Azerbaijan relation have gone down recently when it taken a stance with the Turkey and paki. So expect further derail of the diplomatic relations.

Ya'll Nibbiars Won't take part actively to take down it's own military hardware delivered to Azerbaijan, might be covertly against Azerbaijan to protect Armenia since Russia has a big Armenian lobby, Armenia is on its own in this war with a behind the curtain support from Russia.

Armenians have big lobby in US too but their location is kinda unfortunate like Mongolia....Russia plays both sides with a slight tilt towards armenia.

Arstakh/Nagorno-Karabakh are Armenian dominated areas inside the territory of Azerbaijan, Republic of Arstakh is a self-governing Armenian puppet state that has no international recognition, just like "North Cyprus" which is the area of Cyprus illegally occupied by Turkey + Turks who live in Northern Cyprus.

This all is the result of USSRs final parting shot to their puppet states, and even a self goal in terms of gifting a Russian speaking Crimea to Ukraine SSR( That is how Ukraine the country now used to have Crimean under it's control ).
A similar border area/ ethnic group boogaloo can be seen in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan in Central Asia.

It is not similar to Kashmir at all, primarily because there is no state backed Jihad or rand rona in UN and other global groups about muh hooman rights violations

Turkis have a bigger lobby in US, but that hinges more on the strength of their mother country than the American-Turk communities achievements/paisa/positions of power

Feel really worried for Armenians. Looks like they are outnumbered and without any external help from either Russia or Europe they will loose badly. Not sure if its happening with tacit approval of Russia to teach Armenians a lesson of trying to get close to Greece and French. Not sure how much help French are providing to Armenia. Turkey has become Paxtan of Europe and should be cut to size soon.

Armen have the blessing of their all weather suger daddy Russia .

And unlike Turks rossiyans doesn't boost about it.

Apart from more follow on orders of SU 30 MKI/SM from Armenia this conflict would not yield any results
That's the crux of the problem, Russians aren't all weather sugar daddies to Armenia - they are duplicitous bastards, who sell arms to both sides and preach neutrality/calm (the same way they behave with us when China encroaches).

This in spite of the fact that as the greatest Orthodox power and Christian power in the Caucasus/East Europe, they have a responsibility towards Armenia when its defending itself against Islamists.

We should be backing every country that has an issue with Turkey - unbelievable that people are still so reticent - no wonder India hasn't even canceled that Turkish ship contract.

There is no logical reason why we shouldn't be backing Greece, Armenia and Cyprus; along w/ the French maneuvers to box out Turkey in the Middle East, and maintaining contact with Turkish Kurds.

And Armenia in particular, was one of the earliest countries to back the Indian stand on J&K (while Azeris back Pak), and is surrounded by inimical Muslim states - who have genocided it in the past, just as they did to us. If you can't even stand with them (diplomatic backing is absolute minimum) - then honestly what are you doing in international geopolitics?

Its time or India not to just issue statements supporting them politically but also help them militarily. Not in terms of troops but critical equipment's from our inventory or emergency purchase through third party like Israel or France. If we don't support friendly country during war then when will we support them.
