Today on April 25th is Anzac Day in Australia.
Today all over Australia, in every city and country town across our nation we honour our war dead.
In the big cities like Perth we have marches through the city for all the services with the old soldiers taking part who ride in jeeps and trucks.
I have just come home from the Perth parade and the reason I decided to write this is that there was a very large contingent of Indian people marching in the parade including ladies in saris. All wearing medals and carrying Australian flags.
It was wonderful to see.

Every other country honours their war dead... all except us...

We play around with their salaries, their benefits, their awards... basically, anything that can win our political parties their votes...

Everyone has issues mate. But its not that this nation does not honor its dead soldiers. Don't show our country in bad light particularly when its not true.
