Look at how Western companies shamelessly copy each other that some ends up sueing. A little bit of copying is not bad, you have to start somewhere. There's no shame in that.
For eg . Chinese one is quite different ,do you know about proper breach that occurred in f 35 database

Classified F-35 program data secure, official says
But it does look like the Chinese has stolen unclassified F-35 data, you can see similarities in shaping between the F-35 and some Chinese planes, like inlets.

Erodgan is the Putin of Turkey, he wants to be the Sultan of the new Ottoman Empire so they've poured in copious sums into their arms industry and just as importantly he has been using his military as a foreign policy tool- they've been deployed to Syria and Iraq, during Afghan withdrawal Turkey sent 1000s of troops to secure Kabul alongside the US/NATO.
Erdogan is more like Zia-ul-Haq of Turkey who overestimates his state based on grandeurs of the past. While economy is sinking, he's just trying to earn some political mileage by punching above the weight Turk nation.

Turkey isn't even a fraction of what it used to be. Not even a second or third tier power. They live on mercy of NATO for security and finance, their "aerospace" projects have 60-70% of imported stuff. Worse than what India, Korea and Japan used to be in early 2010s. Quite much taking pride on little weapon systems while absolutely don't hold any strategic weapons to determine war. Their nuclear weapons are under reign of NATO.

Air force fleet is more obsolete than likes of Syria and Pakistan (F-4s and F-16s). In case of a world war, Turkey won't even be seen as a first class pawn of US/Russia but a sidekick or reserve force like Balkans or Pak. Erd is just gambling expecting some benefits for Turkey which even he himself hasn't estimated.

AFAIK you can buy standard FBW wire enabled mission computer and avionics from off the shelf market.
They can use these off the shelf hardware then the only part pending is their interfacing (for which these companies provide design services) and implementation of FBW software which is also available off the shelf. Optimizing with respect to aircraft's aerodynamics is done by they company providing FBW software or their design partners.
No, this kind of off-shelf product is downgraded version. Its capabilities of data processing, multiple tasks, etc, are limited. Most of them are only suitable for civilian usage. For those imported for military jets, it depends on the particular contract, in other words, the will of the sellers.

:truestory:NEW RAM MATERIAL.

And this one looks promising. 99.5% attenuation in the entire 8–18 GHz (X and Ku-band) range!
Flexible Composite made of Carbon Black and Barium Hexaferrite in Polyvinyl Alcohol matrix.

Funded by DRDO, R&D by DIAT, Pune.

What this mean ?
Its possible that this radar absorbent material gets used on AMCA. It absorbs X-band radar waves, which is used by most fighter jets. Also absorbs radar waves from Ku band, which is used by most BVR Air-Air and Surface to Air missiles. Will be difficult for an enemy fighter to track or get a lock on AMCA. Read last line of the paper: "Thus BaF-CB-PVA nanocomposite films will be useful in stealth applications".

There have been other types of radar absorbent materials posted in this thread before, including ones from iron ball paints to Jaumann absorbers. We aren't sure which ones will finally be used on AMCA, so we try to keep track of all research being done in this area, especially by DRDO.

I saw one metamaterial which was tested by NAL in 1-60 Ghz. It was classified as broadband absorber but I couldn't see the full article you have to sign in or something in IEEE.

Send me the link. I think its been posted before, I remember seeing a broadband absorber based on some metamaterial here before. And I vaguely remember thinking that it isn't developed enough. But lets see.
