post that interview video here
This is an old interview
From 2023 only… but we got the info. Directly from the head guy…This is an old interview
Even that is provisional and expected, just like earlier expectations we can assume more delays. Project is yet to get approval.Hopefully India has back up plans for Engine and Ejection seat for AMCA.
Cant trust West to honour contracts.
Saw interview of ADA boss … Roll out by Mid 2027 ..
Production partners already working with ADA from development stage.
Induction before 2035 🥱🥱🥱![]()
AMCA is a 5th gen fighter jet development program. not a 4.5gen like KF 21, it need TD stage, then prototype, and it take a decade to reach IOC.From 2023 only… but we got the info. Directly from the head guy…
2027 will see a Prototype..
Hopefully first flight with in a year…
Then test cycle for 5-7 years then IOC and induction into service
IMO ADA chief looks confident when he said in interview that prototype will roll out in 2027, This is one of the key strategic program of India I see Govt is backing this fully if IAF is still doubtful.AMCA is a 5th gen fighter jet development program. not a 4.5gen like KF 21, it need TD stage, then prototype, and it take a decade to reach IOC.
Simply look into other 5th gen programs, it takes more than 2x 5-7 years to achieve FOC.
Both IOC and FOC given by IAF, not R&D or manufacturing org, if any of R&D/production/assembly unit mention about IOC or FOC, then they are hiding something or lying. it is better to neglect their statement
Reality is, first LCAmk1, then LCAmk2+TEDBF, after FOC, AMCA mk1+AMCA mk2
Presently ADA completed LCA development program and started mk2 development in full scale, and giving top priority to increase indigenous content, and AMCA prototype stage only happen after 2030, but that is not the major issue facing AMCA program, but engine JV is.
The only problem I see is gov giving approval ffs year is about to end we have been waiting for 1 year for ccs approvalIMO ADA chief looks confident when he said in interview that prototype will roll out in 2027, This is one of the key strategic program of India I see Govt is backing this fully if IAF is still doubtful.
And regarding the induction with in a decade he explained the production partners are already involved from development stage which basically means the production phase jump will be much quicker when compared to earlier projects
Its clear CCS approval is not impacting work on working ahead on technologies and components required to construct a prototype. The only problem I see is gov giving approval ffs year is about to end we have been waiting for 1 year for ccs approval
No But it does effect when they can roll out a prototypeIts clear CCS approval is not impacting work on working ahead on technologies and components required to construct a prototype.
lets wait till 2027 thenNo But it does effect when they can roll out a prototype
They be will simultaneously prototypingAMCA is a 5th gen fighter jet development program. not a 4.5gen like KF 21, it need TD stage, then prototype, and it take a decade to reach IOC.

I don't think ADA want to make mistake twice. They be will simultaneously prototyping
Well they're marking parts and some parts of amca is readyI don't think ADA want to make mistake twice.
Simply look into LCA mk2 pgrm, they are not hurry to build a prototype, insisted they are considering all the possibility of shortcomings first.
I have trained myself in the art of waiting now no one can beat me.lets wait till 2027 then…
NO, in R&D stage currently. We are not getting any help from EU or US to rapidly start assembly stage for AMCA, like turkey or SK.Well they're marking parts and some parts of amca is ready
Assembling will come later
Bro which world you living in?NO, in R&D stage currently. We are not getting any help from EU or US to rapidly start assembly stage for AMCA, like turkey or SK.
Also still no engine for AMCA. First ADA need to send request to GE and GE need US congress permission to start work on AMCA, and these thing take time.
I'm waiting for LCA to enter mass production since 2001, and from 2024 lca program achieve that goal [16~20 jets per year]I have trained myself in the art of waiting now no one can beat me.
Where is the proof ??Bro which world you living in?
Multiple parts for AMCA has been developed
you should watch the ADA chief interview I posted.Where is the proof ??
