ALL are situational awareness system , Irst is a search and track system functional in IR band , DAS is just a combination of sensor which cover a volume around your plane , like rwr , maws , irst type sensor all working together in sensor fusion unlike irst which are generally forward mounted .

EOTS are generally for long range search and tracking but conformal giving less signature and different bandwidth
Explain one more. FLIR

@FalconSlayers seems like you have developed a new interest in fighters and avionics.
Primary has been Small Arms and tactical equipment, every member here in this forum has respective interests, @Bleh has in Aviation and I have in Small Arms just I love aviation too. Many are in love with Navy. So every member contributes to their favourite threads.

Isn't the scaling process helping , try to comapre ratio of aircraft lenght to iwb in comparison to what ratio is in image , you will get a fair enough comparison
Yes. To a degree... We still don't know the exact dimensions of the new versions. It's ever-changing.

I think they increased the volume of internal weapons bay, by bulging the belly below & to the sides. That's my conclusion from shifting the front view. Could be incorrect.

Can you tell me the differences between IRST, DAS and EOTS?
You should just Google & read the basics. Too much offtopic rambling required for that. @Lonewolf explained well. I'll just add a bit.

IRST is Infrared imaging system that identifies & tracks the IR signature of jets & incoming. Limited to 60km.

EOTS is a electro-optical version of it that combines TV & IR for better imaging, target identification & tracking, weapons guidance. (You won't need seperate targetting pod, meant for stealthy strike).

DAS is the latest (& somewhat unproven) all direction integrated infrared tracking tech, meant for better situational awareness. Not for attack or wrapping guidance, but more of a defensive role.... If future this will workaas MAWS & direct the DIRCM to counter IIR-guided AAM.

A penny for my thought
Can't su 57 weapons bay be made a single bay which can deliver heavy missile at subsonic speed ,but for other mission it can act as 2 separate bays too

sir can you explain how r interferometer enabled rwr can detect planes and at what range is it possible, i know weapon quality track isn't possible but how does it work?

I don't know... Possible, but equally unlikely.

Su-30 cockpit has no backwards view either. It's got no DAS. We have no DAS displayed yet on AMCA Mark1.

I read something like that somewhere, but 2010... Less than 50 inducted before 2005. What's the point. Won't even save much money.

Anything official tho?
Many Su-30MKI of IAF have DRDO DCMAWS.
yes! tejas mk2 will also have dc maws but not the ones which su 30mki ,tejas mk2 dcmaws will be upgraded that means it will also have lwir besides mwir that will make it an eo das system. dcmaws currently has only mwir(only capable of missile detection) for aircraft it has to be lwir capable

ADA brochure image were uploaded by that twitter user and not opinion. But i forgot u know more than ADA.
One more thing don't create misconceptions. I said astra mk1 cant be included in amca because of its dimensions not that astra series itself won't be placed.future missiles are to be developed which can be used with IWB.
Ghar jake so jao bhai.
