Lol, who so ever has posted this has no knowledge about tanks.Interesting post..
Ok..the chances of these tanks going against each other in the battle-field are very low. So keep it civil and no need to troll...

-----------
Feel free to point out any mistakes I made.
Al Khalid-1 is right up there with latest Merkava IV , with Merkava having a slight edge due to superior electronics etc.
Israel is producing Merkava since 1970's , while Pakistan started to produce Al Khalid much later. So it is great to see Pakistan producing tanks as capable as Al Khalid-1
Al Khalid-1 edges Merkava IV in firepower and mobility..while Merkava IV has better armor and protection system (Israelis are obsessed with soldiers' protection).
Have your say...
PS : There is alot of talk about which ATGM is superior...LAHAT or Kombat. Both ATGMs have their own advantages over the other...so lets keep it that way. This is why I didn't high-light any of the tank in ATGM category.
AUz ↑
Markava can take out targets at 6-8 km that too in non line of sight, which means target can be painted by others while Markava will only launch its LAHAT missile from hidden or without exposing itself to target. Now if Al Khalid has to launch 9M119 Refleks (AT-11 Sniper) which has range of only 5 km it has to constantly focus its laser to the target till the missile reach its point of impact, which means that target can also see Al Khalid at same range.
Al Khalid has crew of three members only, while Markava 4 has crew of 4 and 10 fully armed soldiers as passengers (means it can also act as ACP)
engine on the Markava 4 is at the front while in Al Khalid has at the back. Trophy auto loader is standard equipment on Markava 4, only few pics with Alkhalid with VARTA active protection system was shown, so it is not even standard equipment, plus it does not take out enemy IR anti tank, on the other hand Trophy take out anti tank weapon.
weight of the Markava is due to heavily armor, light armor is on Al Khalid. Markava has all round protection.
ammo capacity, i dont have to comment since Makrava 4 can take additional 10 fully armed passengers.
Plus it has option of auto loader
I am not even talking about its BMS, it is most advance system available.
I can go on and on but it is useless with madarsa educated guys.
this pic shows why its weight is low and what quality of material is used for tank, just look at the skirt of tank .
