Ni hao , harisud San.
I say this to you. The Indian ordnance factories are even older than our norinco factories here in zhonghua
Your indian ordnance factories have made weapons even before ww2 and of top notch quality , india has capability equivalent to us the chiense to make quality weapons. As @Suryavanshi @Waanar . Know
But i delight for the fact that , your indian army is even lethargic than our people's liberation army officers .
Alteast here we provide equipment on time
How will you win the war against us , tell me yindu how will you.
Zhonghua will be victorious

@Johny_Baba. @Tactical Doge. @Lonewolf. @Arjun Mk1A
The Indian Ordinance factories are very capable and experienced. Noronico is all copied and reverse engineered hence produce third rate products.

If they were very capable we wouldn't be having this thread now, would we? Keep defending these nincompoops as they sit on their asses, scratch their butts, and sip on their teas, while the frontline troops shamefully use a decked out version of a 75 year old rifle.

"Third most powerful military" fighting using an imported rifle, chew on that and see how ridiculous that is.

Blame the government for not providing the adequate funds.

Not really the best example tbh.
maybe but it literally happened, even amreekis used lots of captured Type-56s and it was generally considered more reliable than their own M16 (accuracy etc was more or less a moot point in the kind of guerrilla warfare they fought)

we've had our own fair share of encounter with these Chinese AKs with those wars with porkies

heck even our own army's RR and other units use these captured Norinco made AK to this day

So again how could you berate chinese-norinco etc so much when their products have such excellant track record - not only AKs but almost all others, they've exported it in lakhs of numbers and still do in this day...Jealous much ?
We should bite the bullet and accept realities about things, ONLY THEN we could move forward baki yeh ;heh china ka maal; ka pichhdapan krte rho aur 75 saal ke liye...

Gun choice varies on personal preference.

India may scrap 6.5 lakh Ak-203 rifle deal, and opt for SSS Defence's upcoming 7.62mm Ak type Rifle
The much-awaited local production of 6.5 lakh 7.62 x 39 millimeters Russian Kalashnikov Ak-203 Assault Rifles was scheduled to begin production in March 2022.

But now, IgMp has learned that the officials associated with the project have pointed out that this long-delayed deal could be postponed further or could be scrapped altogether at any time.

On the other hand, Indian Private Sector firm SSS Defense is all set to unveil a new 7.62 x 39 millimeters rifle which is a modification of the company's existing P-72 Rapid Engagement Combat Rifle (RECR) and will be an improvement over the Russian Kalashnikov rifles and its derivatives such as the Ak-203.

Recently SSS Defense bagged the contract to modify Indian Army Ak-47 variants and they have already delivered the modifications kits to the Indian Army. Indian Army is said to have been impressed with the quality of modification kits delivered by the firm.

Repeated delays in price negotiations and technology transfer agreements with the Russians over Ak-203 may force MoD and the Indian Army to go for indigenous firm SSS Defense made upcoming Ak type 7.62mm Assault Rifle.

Honestly speaking, I hope the deal is scrapped. If we don't give contracts to our indigenous firms then they won't have the ability to improve. GOI should simply scrap this shit and end the drama and go with SSS defense. It's time to replace AK-47 crap, INSAS and other old rifles in our arsenal. We should not be dependent on other country for rifles and scopes. At least be self reliant in that space for heaven's sake.

After what we saw today I seriously doubt we will see anything else than ak-203

Honest opinions of this f insas system, camo actually looks better than cce but it looks like the camo form of chutiya compared to aesthetic camos like philipines the south koreans, taiwanese etc , i hope that red dot is standard for front liners and they better put an adjustable stock on that old ak, armor looks like its the iotv
