right，back from Zhuhai for 2 weeks，but I was a little bit busy with my work, so the update of this year's Airshow China was delayed...

here is something interesting first...it might be slow to open but you can zoom in/out and change the view angle and experience something wonderful if a little patience is spared...there are 13 panoramas on this page. the function on IE core browers is much better if you are using a Chrome...lol

on the opening day -1st Nov, J20 certainly was the star of the day...two J20 flied low pass over the airstrip when the last J10 of August 1st aerobatics team after they finished around 30 minutes long flying show...but a little disappointing, the J20's maneuvering demonstration was cut to 80 seconds only due to the final decision by those in-charge... but that's enough for our hundreds of military photographers to picture this exciting moment. loads of wonderful pix were shared these days...I chose some of them here...






and a clip by our old Japanese friend..

but the high tide actually happened on the Oct 31st evening before the openning ceremony...there was a brief meeting with the Chief Test pilot of J20 project and he left a valuable T-shirt with his autograph as the BIG prize of lucky draw on the military fan gathering...what a great prize...lol

FC-31（second edition）

again, as I corrected before, it's FC-31 project not J-31...this is project is for Export purpose and hasn't got the approval from the nation of the Armed force as FC-1 fighter...and J-10 is also approved to be exported under the designation- FC-20.

the first FC-31 prototype attended airshow China 2014 is the first Edition... the design revised second edtion and the second prototype is unde construction...this version of FC-31 IOC date was said in 2019 and FOC after 2022...It is being slowly developed with limited funds if no foreign customer is willing to invest the R&D work now and take the share of future profit




quite some visitors..



the second FC-31 on the Assembly line, the maiden flight might be taken next year..screen shots of promotion video.

yeah, old face...lol...but there still is something notable...
the two seater trainer's model was displayed again but in a New Shape...the Tandem two-seat canopy seems to have been lowed down comparing its very first model and the vertical fin was reshaped to sweepback with electronice quipment unit..it is supposed to take the maiden flight before the end of this year of early 2017...

pay attention to the difference of vertical fins of FC-1 and FC-1B trainer.

and as we said the first foriegn order was one of South-East nations..this is time it was confirmed - Myanmar, although we also thought so before...the official from Myanmar Armed force didn't say too much to our media but disclosed that they had a new name for this bird and said out in Burmese...unfortunately, the reporter had not a single ideal of Burmese, so it is still a mystery ...lol

two JF-17 from PAF performed a 10 minutes flying display every day...it was splendid as usual. and something need mention is that the performance was conducted by ordinary combat unit pilots...they seems to begin the training and rehearsal just after arriving in Zhuhai. their first training show was a little disappointing ,but the piolts got into roles very quickly ...they flied every day before the opening .and they used to fly 4 times in a training day. their hardworking was rewarded and the skill and professional of PAF were proved again...
