Chinese had these capabilities to threat every India cities for over 40 years while India had zero retaliation capability during the most of times, did India ever watch out and take her troops out of any disputed area?
If India was not scared to death, why do you think Chinese will blink?
Chinese had not built a missile 5000 km range say 40 years back. There accuracy after travelling 5000 km is still doubtful today. Chinese believe in lies together with intimidation. You seem to have believed it.

As for why India does not go for Russian style TEL , reasons are many

1. Costs involved in development and production versus the number required for production is too high to justify it.
That is BS. TEL couldn't be more expensive than the ballistic missile + warhead, on the other hand, will increase the survivability significantly.

2. Indian landmass is not sparsely populated, can't have a tel roaming about with jihadis and commies in every nook and corner of the country.
Another BS. Are you telling me that India couldn't even provide basic protection to her nuclear force? My 4 years daughter can come up with something better.

3. Operational doctrine emphasis tight control of launch assets restricting them to movement to and fro between storage and predetermined launch locations.
Another fanboy BS: maneuvering around between storage and launch locations is a part of daily operation and training, also a critical part of national security. If your so called "tight control" restricting the soldiers from practising their basic skills, then people should question the capability of India nuclear force: trained as fight, fight as trained. You are insulting your own military professionals.

But anyway, as I said before, why should I stop you fooling Indian members here.

Honey, DF-3A (5000km) entered the service in 1971. DF-4 (6000km) started the deployment in 1976.

But why does Chinese need a 5000km missile for India? From the center of Yun Nan province, it is only 2445km to New Delhi, 2991km to Mumbai and 2551km to Chennai.

If the missile launched from Tibet, the distance will be shorten further.

There accuracy after travelling 5000 km is still doubtful today. Chinese believe in lies together with intimidation. You seem to have believed it.
The accuracy of both missiles were btw 1000-4000m. With the 3MT warhead on board, for the mega city like New Delhi and Mumbai, it really doesn't matter.

Of course, you bear your head in the sand pretending all these are fake.

What will you do now that India is 2 years away from deploying naval Agni-5 as well?

Are you ready to see millions of Chinese die like in Wuhan?

Agni 5 has 8000 km range as per your scientist. MIRVs are incoming. Looks like you have a migraine on the way.

I always try to avoid any conversation with you because you and you stupidity is not worth my time

But for the sake of the readers here , I will call out your hogwash

Increase survivability how exactly ?

That too against direct or indirect counter force targeting with either massive conventional strikes or nukes. Nobody is foolish to engage a hostile WMD TEL without maximum firepower to ensure high probability of destruction of the same. There is no option of 2nd chance.

The only difference between Indian TELs and Russian TELs is in the mobility , Russia has a large landmass with little to no population and their doctrine involves the dispersion of TELs across the length and breadth of their country with a high level of independence to ensure survivability against detection and first strike . Let's no even mention china because no time wasting on copycats.

Threat to nuclear assets is not physical perse as your stupidity forced you to assume but rather hostile HUMINT passing on information on movement and location during war.

no offense to your 4 year daughter , but I guess she is showing her father's side of stupidity. It was uncalled for you to involve her in the discussion which again shows your stupidity.

did you even understand the context in which " tight control of launch assets " was implied , except for you everybody understood it , go and improve your english comprehension skills before spewing BS .

you wasted enough of my time

And you better start worrying about the Chinese rather than Indians . Charity begins from home .

MIRVs are already operational , 3 per payload . However to increase it beyond that we will need the open sea test range to be operational for validation.

I posted pic of K5/A6 nose cone it is blunt with retracting aerospike . Now understand why . If needed compare it with very old DRDO IIT slides on the future ICBM capabilities which is available on the net.

Was looking for this image for a while. Thanks, and yeah it's a beast. Still no updates however.
Becoz thanks to some commies among us, this project was blacklisted in 2012. Someone started crying that DRDO is investing on a TEL which services has not yet asked for.
But it made a come back recently and is very much in picture right now. @IndianHawk as @captscooby81 mentioned, it's not for A5. If u browse the threads here, u cud see it being posted around.

I've seen it before. It was in DRDO's lab page before it got updated, some member here posted it a while back. Yes, it's not for Agni 5, I think most can tell the missile is too big for it. But that type of off road TEL isnt common in India. So the development is interesting.

Don't know if you guys know , Indian strategic TELs have correspondingly higher number no of reloads accompanying it.

I kind of find it perplexing

Having one reload per TEL ( with own loaded round ) is fine but more than one, kind of beats me.

I have no idea on the reload time but even if it is crazy fast , still firing multiple ( more than 2 ) strategic missiles from the same geographical area from the same launcher is kind of risky against a potent enemy with good surveillance capabilities.

Another point is does India have silos for its strategic missiles , I kind of doubt that except for one missile .

And than there was this mechanism which pic I found like long time back , it's purpose was to enable cyclic movement of missile canister from pre launch postion to firing position , then retract it and load a new missile canister . Around 50 of the same had been delivered , some for proof testing , rest operational deployment .

Indications was it is for navy , problem is no known missile system with navy uses under deck loading and unloading of missiles during firing or otherwise, forget about cyclic mechanism. Everything is fixed in a VLS .

Now that's a mystery

Nothing, there are still a long way to go for Indian nuclear force to make themselves strong enough on both quantity and quality.

By the way, according to Mr Porky_Kicker, India nuclear force even worries their safety when patrolling within India territory.

Are you ready to see millions of Chinese die like in Wuhan?
I don't like to see anyone die in a nuclear war, even a single Indian. That is why I am always laughing at any Indian or Chinese fanboy's idea of nuclear war as if it is another PC game.

The sad fact is: China is not in a position to threat anyone (including India) with nuclear. The status of India nuclear war readiness is even worse.

That was 2012 concluded based on the information of India media. Later they found out that they were fooled by India media.

That will be a good news for India's enemy, before that, you need at least 2 warhead for one Indian warhead, now you can destroy 3-6 Indian warheads with 2 warhead. That is why I am always laughing at fanboy.

MIRVs are used to target multiple areas with 1 missile. What nonsense is these 3-6 vs 2? Are you smoking something?

Hence I always say never argue with a fool , he will beat you down with his stupidity and ignorance eventually.

Also don't forget to take your concerns to the Russian RVSN RF who embed dedicated anti sabotage and counter ambush escorts units to accompany their TELs within their territory lol :pound:

I guess china stronk , so need no protection for their TELs , but ironically definitely need thousands and thousands of political commissars in every nook and corner of their military to make sure it stays loyal ............................ fuking epic :pound::pound::pound:

Yes, I know. But that guy's information source was: INDIA MEDIA.
I watched the original video, his original words were:" India government says it is 5000km, but there were some India media once claiming the actual range was 8000km. , it is possible that India government understated the range to avoid international pressure."

After that Chinese media used his words to pump up the international pressure and India fanboys jump up and down "Chinese approved our capability".

Funny thing is people here bragging about nuclear war, but has no understanding of nuclear war.
For nuclear deterrent countries like China and India, they only have limited warheads, let's say 180. Without MIRV, you need 180 missiles to mate them. If tomorrow, USA decides to disarm your nuclear weapons, they get 180 targets to deal with. But if you decide to use MIRV, 3 warheads for each missile, you only need 60 missiles. In the meantime, American's target list is reduced to 60 as well. So, you just simply make their job a lot easier. Now, do you need smoke something to clear your head?

Fantasy and Ignorant are DNA habit?
Good sir, I highly doubt China has just 180 warheads.

And trust me, indian strategic forces have multiple times that number.

All I’m saying is, there is enough warheads and missiles to go around for effective deterrence. Small number of launch vehicles is definitely not the case.

It is also a known habit of isro to underplay pretty much every missile that they produce.

It is also a known habit of the Chinese to overplay their capacity and capabilities. Just look at all the rhetoric coming out of your country even now. It’s funny.

If you wish to declare that the Indian nuclear force is not capable enough. Ok. Believe what you choose to believe. I’m sure all of these scientists at isro and drdo who launch way more satellites than China do, are just making stuff up right?

As your own Sun Tzu says: “ If ignorant both of your enemy and yourself, you are certain to be in peril”.
Stay in peace brother. Im sure it will all work out fine.
