PMO should split HAL. And sell helicopter division to Adani, if they like.

They will fix it, for sure.

And what will Adani do next. tie up with BAE or some other company and market their products here, killing whatsoever reasearch HAL was doing.

Adani is entry of yet another middleman in defence arena.

Sir, still anything left in Indian defence to get killed...?

I had posted one video of their port. They started to make it in 1995. In 2002 it was the biggest working private port in India.

India needs these type of players in defence industrial complex.

Adani might set up a company but may not get any orders as of now. First preference will be given to TATA, Mahindra, Reliance and HAL. if indeed Adani wants to do something they have to start as component suppliers for now.

Had worked with adani group during mundra port IPO was issued. my impressions at that time were that they are very bullish. Infact work culture of Reliance and Adani are very similar only difference being reliance will not respect you as a person but adani's give some respect to your professional skill set.

Let Adani Build its own facilities and showcase their products to Army and get Orders.
Why Kill HAL for that?Infact Army would be double happy to get rid of HAL if they have local alternative.

There is a huge scope for private sector to grow along with PSU's. Let the business decide the winner and not private vs public discussion.

HAL has built a aeronautical ecosystem around it(however delayed and pain staking it is). That should not be gifted to private sector.

Yes,I do agree that Government should provide incentives to private sector by providing tax concessions and subsidizing R & D.

HAL got good product, when we talk about helicopters. But they can't make it faster and in good numbers.

In this way we can get HAL's product in time and in good numbers.
