ADA said there will be only 4 aircrafts in entire development stage of Mk-2
1 & 2 IOC standard, 3 & 4 FOC standard...

And let me repeat again what PD said, 1st Air Force Serial Production Aircraft will roll out around the time of 3rd Prototype
The order for 108 jets is pretty much confirmed, probably by the time 1st or 2nd prototype enters flight trials, will the orders be placed

Yes, iff IAF become a part of ADA.
They can only choose how many aircraft they want, not others, may be they are considering their own AF.
Mass production only happens after ioc & ioc given by IAF not ada & iaf need 1sqn for that, hal also need time to process training/maintenance manuals.

Not going to happen.
Don't believe every thing ADA saying, listen to HAL or IAF or GoI about mass production.
No ones gives full order of products without testing it.
Lets assume goi going to order 108 jets without tests, then they also orders 200 rafale also.
First, once goi place order hal starts lsp for iaf, and after 1.5 years [delivering 8~12 jets] mass production starts, 16 ~24.

Thats why the opinion of ADA should be regarded as trash tier. Not a single deadline has been met by them in the last 30 years. I expect the first prototype to fly only in 2025 or 26.

For testing, key word is ''roll out'' and for ada. Its upto HAL, when first aircraft to iaf ''roll out'' .
First ADA need to fly mk2. In the case of ADA, two things important is roll out & first flight.

Probably the ToT agreements with GE regarding the engine might be another reason for the delay other than the delay in CCS funding.
I don't think so, GE already working with HAL in maintenance, overhaul & repair of ge 404 & ready to share tech of ge414, after delivering initial batch. South Korea also builds ge engines, & tot comes under 99 ge414 deal.

We were expecting a bunch of good news in this Expo but God have other wishes

No.
Hint- Tot to HAL & HAL is not responsible for Kaveri R&D. [but we can benchmark both] HAL builds su 30 mki engine al31 from scratch.
Well that's still good news did this happen today? And this engine will be used for mk2 right?

Its old news, just rewriting & yes used for mk2. HAL starts manufacturing engines once goi orders 108 mk2 & first batch of ge engines arrived in 2019~20 period. GE won 99 engine deal against ej200 with tot for local manufacturing.

I remember hearing quite a lot of news about a few months back whether the GE F414 engines will be imported off the shelf or licensed produced in India, there was quite a lot of back and forth about it.
Glad its finally settled, hopefully this will help HAL is niggling out the issues with the AL-31FP

Well with this tot hals experience will go up hopefully they can upgrade su 30mkis engine's but even if we can isn't testing engines is something we can't do here in India? Wasn't kaveri supposed to go to russia for testing but couldn't cause of war

Its a myth. HAL only builds cold section of AL31 while hot section directly comes from Russia and finally HAL assembles them. The material used for building cold section of AL31 also comes from Russia.

Raw materials comes from Russia, HAL do the rest.
HAL builds su 30 mki engine al31 from scratch. - according to HAL.
But processed raw materials, hot section comes from Russia
HAL also do MRO of al31.
Similar things go with ge414.
