Modi government should impose self ban on arms imports
Yeah, blaming the IAF alone is not correct. But you've to admit, they've made some really bad moves. IAF top brass is divided on the Tejas. Some support it. Others hate it.Did IAF piss on LCA? The initial 20 LCA MK1 was ordered in 2006 and not 1 was delivered till 2014. This was MK1 with imported engine, radar, ejection seat and avionics. Can such a delay be explained by throwing the ball at IAF?
When the technology matures, it is more easy to operate, given stealth aircrafts, stealth coatings are major issue, as they aren't resistant enough, and cost big, rest avionics and electronics are quite mature.Yeah, blaming the IAF alone is not correct. But you've to admit, they've made some really bad moves. IAF top brass is divided on the Tejas. Some support it. Others hate it.
But that aside. The HushKit article made one good point on 5th gen aircraft: No need to operate any of 'em. Given how expensive the tech is proving to be and just how elusive it seems to be for anyone to achieve true LRO apart from the US.
Whether or not IAF "pissed on LCA", i don't know. But following is what it sure did. Gives a hintDid IAF piss on LCA? The initial 20 LCA MK1 was ordered in 2006 and not 1 was delivered till 2014. This was MK1 with imported engine, radar, ejection seat and avionics. Can such a delay be explained by throwing the ball at IAF?
These are already achieved in Mk1 itself even before it gets FOC. What is new in MK1A? I think AOA should increase to 26* by then. G load should touch 8.5 atleast. With low wing loading aircraft like Tejas, service ceiling of 15 km is too conservative. For MK2 it is estimated to be 18 km.Tejas FB confirmed the envelope for MK1A - 15Km ceiling, 24deg AoA and certified for 8G loads

In Tejas-T they already have. This is the reason why Canopy reshaping is being considered.I think AOA should increase to 26* by then

Don't ask for them, none of them would have any sane discussion. That's 2 SP in the month of March. And you getting this rate when there is confirmed orders for only 40 Tejas.
Where are critiques?
Tejas has been tortured enough with an ASQR which was prepared with what purpose in mind I don't comment on.Don't ask for them, none of them would have any sane discussion.
If I am not wrong, some of'em would say than IAF had given order of 20 IOC Mk1 LCA in 2006 even after 12 yes, not even half of the order is delivered......
They know what LCA had gone through, how it all happened, but..................
Well, let's just say that they are crtiques and ignoring them is good for health.
Why? What did you say?So the LCA-Tejas page blocked me. Wow.
I had sent them a DM and I quote "Why? What did you say?
