It means SP-5 is still in assembly line and will take some time to be delivered.Im sorry but What does this mean

Missiles or ECM Pods or chaff dispenser..but this is a good suggestion...in Pak-Fa they are using L-band radars for detection in wingtips... don't know if they can work with wingtip missilesOn a side discussion, how come Tejas is never equipped with wing-tip AAMs? Wing-tips would have been an extra hard points.
I think that space can be used for ECM Pods + towed decoys just Like Euro-fighter typhoons .On a side discussion, how come Tejas is never equipped with wing-tip AAMs? Wing-tips would have been an extra hard points.
LCA's production is ramping up. HAL almost met their year one target (6 SPs) and only fell short by a matter of weeks.Im sorry but What does this mean
LCA's production is ramping up. HAL almost met their year one target (6 SPs) and only fell short by a matter of weeks.
Future deliveries won't encounter this issue as SP-5 is the first LCA being made in the 2nd production line (converted Kiran hanger), HAL will meet their future targets quite comfortably with all things being equal.
How many Jets will get completed will depend on how many were started last year. How many jets will be built at the end of this year ??
By the end of this FY around 12-14 units should be with 45 SQN and production for the MK.1 will stabilise around the 8-10 units/year mark until around 2019-20 when the Mk.1A will enter production at a rate of 16/year.How many jets will be built at the end of this year ??
after 2021 they Should produce tejas MK 2 ........123 tejas mk1a already ordered , now all the further orders should be tejas MK 2 .By the end of this FY around 12-14 units should be with 45 SQN and production for the MK.1 will stabilise around the 8-10 units/year mark until around 2019-20 when the Mk.1A will enter production at a rate of 16/year.
Hopefully the IAF/GoI commits to more LCA by 2021 so HAL can increase their production capacity to 20-24/year as their facilities will allow (without any additional phycisal infrastructure being required). The biggest handicap going foreward will be the lack of commited orders.
http://www.thehindu.com/sci-tech/nirbhay-failed-due-to-use-of-recycled-material/article19195215.eceOn the naval variant of Tejas–Mark II (light combat aircraft), Dr. Christopher said the prototype was ready and had fullfilled the parameters of ski-jump on board aircraft carriers. But the Navy had been insisting on twin engines and they were working on the power of the engines. “We are also looking for strategic partners and the partner may be a foreign firm that would provide back-end support,” he said.
MK2 will be produced only after the deliveries of 123 mk1+Mk1A i.e. 2024-2025after 2021 they Should produce tejas MK 2 ........123 tejas mk1a already ordered , now all the further orders should be tejas MK 2 .
so why More orders for Mk-1a ?? all the next orders should be MK-2 .MK2 will be produced only after the deliveries of 123 mk1+Mk1A i.e. 2024-2025

IAF denied for more orders as of now.so why More orders for Mk-1a ?? all the next orders should be MK-2 .
