Mk2 is dead. IAF has no interest in it.

Mk-1A with indigenous Kaveri engine is the goal. By 2019 the first prototype will be ready.
Actually IAF was more interested in Mk2. But as it would require more time, means delay in overall induction, HAL offered Mk1A as interim solution instead. So effectively Mk2 is not dead, its only dormant as of now.

Well you don't see them dissolve Jaguar and mirage squadrons due to their age so mk- 2 is not dormant, the series is going to inducted into to Navy and the air force.

NLCA is a version of Mk2, but no the Mk2. As of now, HAL is not working in Mk2 and there would be no Mk2 in IAF or Navy till 2025. Only after that you would get to hear about or see Mk2 if Tejas doesn't go Marut way.
Till that time its safe to assume that LCA Mk2 is dormant, not dead.

HF 24 had two wars to deal with, I think because of that they shelved them in 90. LCA began in 83 and is ready today, mk 2 will be done by 25/26 after MK 1 A series get completed. The tech required for MK 2 is ready and only to be integrated into the ready design. Testing and production can be accelerated if needs arise.

Its not because of war that we lost Marut. Its the love for emerging Mirage that we lost it. I have still to find any Airforce which leaves behind a in house built twin engine Aircraft without even trying to upgrade it.
As for Mk2, you have stated the reason why I am saying that its dormant instead of dead. Whatever IAF had asked for in Mk2 is already been worked for in Mk1A except the engine.

It is a crime to sell Tejas to Lanka or the middle east. African countries are welcome. Adversary training can be done with this aircraft.

Well not mid-east, but lanka can be. South American and south east Asian countries along with some African leading nations can go for Tejas

Gun and IFR will part of FOC tejas?
EW suite is already been tested on PV.
All of the missiles requires are already been in integration phase.
Mainitenability is resolving in each SP's.

Only remaining item for SOP18 should be AESA radar

New Delhi signs off on 83 Tejas fighters
HAL Chairman, T Suvarna Raju has said that the company plans to boost Tejas production capacity from eight to sixteen aircraft annually by 2018.
A Tejas squadron will have 20 aircraft, and deliveries of IOC standard aircraft will be completed in 2019. Deliveries of FOC standard aircraft will proceed from 2019.

IOC standard Tejas aircraft are armed with the Russian R-73 air-to-air missile (AAM), laser guided munitions, dumb bombs, rockets and a GSh-23 cannon. The Israeli Elbit helmet mounted display and sight (HMDS) is understood to have been fully integrated, as has the Rafael LITENING airborne targeting and navigation pod.
The Rafael Derby beyond visual range air-to-air missile will be made available on the FOC standard aircraft.
The Tejas Mk-1A will feature major improvements such as an Israeli Elta 2052 AESA radar, pod mounted Electronic Warfare (EW) suite, Cobham in-flight refueling probe along with numerous other improvements. Additional AAMs and precision munitions are also being considered by Aeronautical Development Agency (AGA).
