1) Cry & lick these technical discussions when Tejas would meet the same fate of Marut HF24 ?
2) Try & appeal Raksha Mantri to promote Tejas for National Interest ?

You choose. I have chosen mine, so did my friends (so called Tejas / Arjun Brigade) of DFI.

We will not divert focus until our objectives are met. Personally, I will tweet & retweet each & every question regarding LCA-Tejas discussed in this thread.

There are many instances where it has been shown that, the current Govt responds to social media quite a bit. But, Yes, if you add insulting hashtags , logical that people wont respond.

Along with DM if people also tweet similar questions and voice their concerns regarding present context to prominent journalists as well then we can make our voice audible. Case in point will be Pilatus vs HTT-40. Then constant enquiries by followers of Ajay Shukla had prompted him to do constant and relentless reporting on the matter (which he excellently did). Which many believes caught the attention of then DM and made the issue popular enough to be discussed not only in newsroom of NDTV-- three IAF senior officers vs Ajai Shukla -- but in circle of decision makers

All that is needed is a repeat of that and volume of tweets and messages needs to be overwhelming.

Depends, when Tejas MK-1A will complete its development. Right now plan or estimated timeline for completion of production of IOC batch and FOC batch i.e SP 1-40 by 2020-21. Afterwards MK-A shall enter production.At 16 Ac per year, SP-123 will be delivered by 2016-17. Do note that if HAL does not increase the rate of production beyond then it will take more time because in meantime HAL will have to produce Naval version as well including Naval MK-2 test vehicles. On that as of now Navy has 8 LSP model based on MK-1 version on order.

120 aircraft means 6 squadrons at current rate of 18/20 aircraft per squadron.
