Well planted stories again,

We will see buckets of crocodile tears on how "tejas mk1 falls short of ASR". and how induction anything above 40 tejas mk1 numbers will critically wound the IAF's combat ability, which is filled with 400 odd near old bsolete migs and Jags!!!

And "eggspurts " speculating how tejas mk2 is just a pea in the sky only!!!

Some more articles oin why tejas mk1-P with ASEA and new EW suit is "not adequate " for IAF needs to replace another 40 odd obsolete mig-21s.

And rumours of Ambani-Adani-fadnavis- maharastra- gripen alliance will once again start!!!

All of these are attempts to pluck life out of the tejas mk 1P ASEA proposal from HAL , which aims to pour more money into tejas mk1 production systems and increase the production rate.

IAF doesn't needs hundred million dollar plus gripen NG to do the job of 30 milion dollartejas mk2 in IAF, whose original aim is to cost effectively replace the obsolete ever crashing 400 odd Migs and Jags. . It is all BS.

Tejas future is guaranteed only they need to track the progress for this four years ie modi’s first term till 2019 if ge-414 doesn’t create any problem and IAF gives proper feedback and looks at the scope for a light fighter to complement Su-30s.... I feel rather than having a foreign OEM like Saab Gripen which will be costly, private firm could team up with ADA for a parallel Tejas private hand help for a production line. Even if Saab “Make in India” Gripen does take off somehow then IAF can Kiss good bye to their costly Sukhoi T-50 FGFAs for future 5th gen procurement...... After Rafale debacle i don’t think any other Euro Canard has any chance what so ever.......

I really hope the Tejas gang stops playing the victim and realize how valuable this government's term is. If they cannot show valuable outputs in the next 4 years irrespective of other blockers they will be ditched. Their failure will give credibility to its opposition.

Infact the risky decision to invest in larger production lines irrespective of larger orders might exectly be what they need to do. And if that decision leaves you in debt in future... who cares.. you are a PSU. Use the job security scare to get money from the gov later. At least the country would not complain that you did not give it all..

SWEDEN’S GRIPEN BACK ON IAF’S RADAR FOR LIGHT COMBAT PLANES

Swedish defence minister Peter Hultqvist will be visiting India from June 9 to June 12, and it is likely that discussions between him and defence minister Manohar Parrikar will include the possibility of India re-looking at Saab’s Gripen NG single-engine light combat planes for the Indian Air Force (IAF).
What has led to the possibility of Gripen being back on the circuit is the fact that while the government has ordered 36 Rafales from French Dassault Aviation, outside the tender for the 126 MMRCA tender, Parrikar has been saying that the IAF may get low-end, light combat planes to replace its MiG-21 fighters.
Meanwhile, MoD’s official spokesperson Sitanshu Kar tweeted: “Swedish Defense Minister Peter Hultqvist to visit #HAL and #BEL in Bengaluru during his visit to India next week.”
Ahead of President Pranab Mukherjee’s visit to Sweden last week, secretary (West), ministry of external affairs, Navtej Sarna, had told mediapersons that “Swedish Defence Minister Peter Hultqvist, would be in India for two days beginning June 10 during which he would explore the possibility of engaging with New Delhi in the defence sector.”
With changed FDI rules and the ‘Make in India’ campaign, it is expected that the Swedish government would look at India as a manufacturing base, Sarna said.
During Mukherjee’s recent visit to Stockholm, the Swedish government had discussed the possibility of Gripen filling the gap in the IAF’s depleting fleet strength, owing to plans to phase out MiG-21s from 12 combat squadrons beginning 2016-17. Both countries have decided to restart the bilateral strategic dialogue after four years, besides finding ways for investment by the Nordic country in India’s defence sector under ‘Make in India’.

http://news.yahoo.com/hungary-army-ground-gripen-jets-second-crash-landing-170951312.html

Hungary has just 14 gripens , two crashed on routine flights and Hungary has groundedded its whole gripen fleet

not a single DDM guy who drools liters of saliva over foreign maal will ever report it.

You can go and check the blogs of livefist, thrisul or TOI reports of rajat pandit, and defence journos like manu pubby and so many other "eggspurts". the deafening silence in unison tells you something.

only Saurav jha has reported it in his tweets

Contrast it with close to 3000 safe take offs and landings of tejas from the much hated HAl and DRDO.

Sweden offers to collaborate with India for production of LCA

Sweden on Wednesday offered to collaborate with India on production of light combat aircraft in the country as part of the ‘Make-in-India’ initiative as the two countries decided to scale up bilateral defence ties.

Swedish Defence Minister Peter Hultqvist held talks with his counterpart Manohar Parrikar here during which a range of issues were discussed.India and Sweden exchanged views on “rising scourge of terrorism” and agreed to cooperate in stemming it, Defence Ministry spokesperson Sitanshu Kar said.

He added that the two sides also discussed issues relating to participation of Swedish firms in defence manufacturing in India under the ‘Make-in-India’ initiative.

Both sides agreed to continue to explore opportunities for enhancing cooperation between the defence establishments of the two countries in mutually agreed areas, he added.

Hultqvist, sources said, talked about possible collaboration in manufacturing single engine light combat planes.

Hultqvist will visit the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Bharat Electronics Limited units in Bengaluru.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had in April said his government was in talks with Swedish defence company ‘Saab Group’ to set up a production unit in his state.

During his trip to that country, Fadnavis had tweeted a photo of himself in the cockpit of a Gripen and said “it was great to be at the aerospace and defence company Saab at Linkoping, Sweden. Promised a defence manufacturing policy in Maharashtra soon.”
Saab had offered JAS39 Gripen-E light fighter to India when the tender for Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft was announced.

The bid was finally won by French firm Dassault Aviation.

Gripen is said to be a far better version of India’s indigenous light combat aircraft Tejas which has been in the making for nearly 30 years.

Parrikar had said that Tejas would be replacement of aging MiG-21s.

DRDO had a few years back sought Saab’s help in the Mark II version of Tejas, which will eventually be inducted into the Air Force.

Saab is likely to insist on a government-to-government (G2G) deal if they step into assist India in developing and manufacturing a light fighter.

India and Sweden had on June 1 signed several agreements to boost ties and decided to restart the bilateral strategic dialogue besides finding ways for investment by the Nordic country in India’s defence sector under the ambitious ‘Make-in-India’ initiative.

^it does not make sense, when IAF has already rejected this fighter. It is okay to use our work force to build for other countries, but I doubt IAF needs them. Besides, there is a huge counter-strategy to pull down LCA's pants by the Gripen folks. They just hate us.

"To SPANKY’s BLOG: LoLz! All it takes is 1 TV anchor to become a sucker & treat a PTI news-report as sacrosanct & then all the subsequent disinformation goes viral! As for the Tejas Mk1, its design was frozen the day metal-cutting began for the first SP-series aircraft. Therefore, none of the 40 Tejas Mk1s can accommodate any internal modifications or enhancements. What is therefore happening is that ADA & HAL are using only one PV-series prototype to flight-test various integrated avionics suites that are destined for installation on the Tejas Mk2. These include the navigation-and-attack system suite & the integrated EW/self-protection suite. AESA-MMR is meant for Tejas Mk2, not for Tejas Mk1. Since the EL/M-2052 is already a developed product, all that needs to be done is to fly it on board a Tejas Mk1 PV so that ADA & HAL can acquire all reqd data for modifying the existing environment control system (ECS) & for developing a new cooling unit & new power-supply unit, all of which will have to be developed prior to beginning design work on the Tejas Mk2’s airframe. "

If this is true how they have rectified pilot's toes hitting the cockpit during ejection problem and fit the refuelling system that was not asked for when metal cutting began?

many Structural modifications were carried out in tejas during test flight program. Another contradiction in saying that cooling requirements and space requirements for internal EW suit were not catered to in metal cutting time, then why was Ew suit for tejas developed in the first place. mk2 itself was conceived only in 2009 after navy's request.

But start of development of EW suit precedes that, so if he says that EW suit was developed only fore teja mk2 in mind ho can they develop it when even the requirement of tejas mk2 did not arise at that time?

Also redesigning display mounts and a few other subsystems will reduce close to 300 Kg weight in production version of tejas mk1 was a statement made by HAL to Ajai shukla in an interview. So how can this guy assume that once the metal was cut in 20001 for a PV everything was frozen?

this is a stupid lie. The metal cut on 2001 was for a tech demo version (TD) of LCA, then PVs folowed then LSPs followed even wing tip design and APU unit near tail along with Aux air intake were were redone till LSP-7. And only LSP -8 was declared production freze model.

SO it is evident that before metal cut for SPs were done lot of design changes were made. So how can he claim that none of the 40 ordered tejas mk1 can never have internal EW suits in them?

While this guy wants 2000 acres to be purchased for Hawk training near Bidar(to avoid loses like a crash of hawk!!!) he swears on his mother that tejas mk2 will need 2000 hours of flight tests!!!)

And he certifies that EW suit that is being tested on tejas prototype 1 can never be fitted on to tejas mk1 ever!!

Also he asks why should we buy ELta 2052 ASEA, when we already have Uttam!!

" The DARE-developed internal EW suite is being flight-tested on a Tejas Mk1 PV-series aircraft AFTER some of the avionics LRUs had been removed to cater to internal space/volume reqmts. "

DO you have any concrete proof for this statement Mr guptha?

How many people you are going to fool Mr Guptha? Do you know the cost of 2000 acres of land near Bidar?

"Rule-of-the-thumb is always to first develop all the sub-systems & then undertake airframe design—a fundamental rule that was violated during the Tejas Mk1’s developmental process"

Trying to sound like an "eggspurt as usual, If the requirements by IAF keep on varying how could ADA crystal gaze and know all of them in advance to design everything that will be asked by IAF ten years after air frame design is freezed?"

"O yaar, the IAF never killed the LCA. The folks who sabotaged the R & D effort were a cabal of politicians, bureaucrats & technocrats who collectively conspired to overrule the IAF’s well-intentioned suggestions that date as far back as 1972—the year ASQR-related work on the LCA actually commenced."

LCA was not a model doing runway stunt that needs to be "liked by IAF". It is the basic foundation for Indian mil-aviation industry.

" It is a universal rule which states that “people always get the rulers they deserve”. So, if the country’s rulers are buffoons, it is because they are emerging from a population of buffoons. They’re neither parachuting from the heavens as fallen angels, nor are they being imported from developed countries. Therefore, like it or not, you will have to make do with such ‘desi’ leaders."

Finally Mr. guptha admits that he is also a buffoon!!! Because if people of this country are all buffoons,

Then this guy who is one among them and confusing so many of them with fake statements like tejas mk2 will have only 2 prototypes and will need 2000 hrs of flight testing and design on tejas mk2 has not even begun is also a buffoon!!!

"The single-seat SP-series Tejas Mk1s, for all intents and purposes, will not be MRCAs, due to their sub-optimal radar warning receivers (due to unresolvable EMI issues) and lack of internal self-protection jammers. Consequently, the Tejas Mk1s won’t be ‘combat survivable’ inside hostile airspace and will therefore be used for only defensive counter-air and CAS missions, AND NOT FOR tactical interdiction missions"

SO all fighters of IAF which have external jammers are not to fit to operate in enemy airspace.

that means IAf does not even have a single combat worthy plane because all of IAf fighter including Su-30 MIKI have external EW suits only!!!!

It seems lies have no boundaries in THRISUL!!!!

It seems this guy has promised hi departed forefathers that he will unleash a bundle of lies about tejas in each one of his blog post!!!

No wonder he calls us all buffoons, Then who is he the professor of Buffoons?

Ofcouse when you tell too many lies too fast you end up contradicting yourself,

"The integrated EW suite (shown below) for the Tejas Mk1 MRCA as envisaged by the DRDO’s Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and designed by the DRDO’s Defence Avionics Research Establishment (DARE).

This suite, however, remains unproven, although it has been flight-tested on an HS-748 Avro flying testbed by the DRDO’s Centre for Airborne Systems (CABS) since 2007. To certify this EW suite on the Tejas Mk1 MRCA, at least 40 additional test-flights on a PV-1 flying testbed will be required, which in turn will further delay the Tejas Mk1’s operational flight certification by at least 18 months.

Making matters further complicated is the sub-optimal performance of the DARE-developed RWR-118 radar warning receiver (see below)—a fact which forced the Indian Air Force (IAF) to reject it for the MiG-29UPG upgrade programme."

Here he clearly says that 40 additional test flights are needed to certify this "integrated EW suit on tejas mk1" PV-1 needs to fly 40 additional test flights , which is presently being done!!!

http://trishul-trident.blogspot.in/2015/06/aero-india-2015-show-report-1.html

On OCtober 22, 2013 this clown has posted that the internal EW suit tested on PV1 will delay the FOC of tejas mk1 by 18 months!!!

On JUne 4 2015 ,he says that internal ew suit being tested on PV-1 is meant for tejas mk2!!!

But in this pearls of wisdom for one of his buffoons(thats what he calls people of india) he says that internal EW suit is being tested only for tejas mk2 and not mk1!!!!

So please educate all of us buffoons about which of the buffoonery you are posting is true Mr Guptha?

Also enlighten us all whether ADA has provided enough space and cooling requirements for this internal EW suit developed for Tejas mk1(as per your own words) when metal was cut for 40 tejas mk1 SP versions!!!

"The IAF’s MiG-29UPGs, in fact, have the IAF’s most advanced internally-mounted integrated EW suite, which includes Elettronica of Italy’s ELT-568 AESA-based jamming system (see below), which will also go on board the yet-to-be-upgraded Su-30MKIs."

ALso please enlighten us all whether Russians provided bulk head redesign provisions and cooling requirements for the "Elettronica of Italy’s ELT-568 AESA-based jamming system" Mig-29 upgrade when they cut the metal for them a couple of decades back?

Any buffoon will say they certainly could not have anticipated them in the 1980s when we bought them.

So how did IAF which upgraded these mig-29s with all the itallian stuff can no upgrade 40 tejas mk1s with DARE produced internal Ew suits that were exactly meant for them from day one?

"Only after this does the production run for SP-series gets underway at an accelerated pace. In case of Tejas Mk1, elementary common-sense has taken flight from the decision-makers of ADA & that’s why one is witnessing the shameful spectacle of only LSP-7 & LSP-8 being equipped with operational-standard avionics, instruments & accessories—"

If everything should have been built on PVs themselves then what is the purpose of LSPs? Whose common sense has taken a flight?

No wonder most of Indians who read such absurd stuff will end up as retarded buffoons , which you yourself has certified.

then we can only have buffoons for bloging about this fact and other buffoons as leaders!!!

Who is a buffoon Mr guptha?

ANd why are you lying so vehemently about tejas mk1?

What is your motivation?

Despite all setbacks Tejas MK1 is best in class!

Light Weight Fighter (LWF) Concept

Light Weight Fighter (LWF) Concept introduced in 50s and 60s had few basics requirements to fulfill which were Performance at low Cost, low tech technology and ability to mass produce those jets meant it was clear case of maintaining “Quantity” over “Quality” in the airforce .

IAF’s use of Gnat and Mig-21 aircrafts in 60’s and 70’s which were classic Light Weight Fighter provided Performance at low Cost and was a clear winner. But Light Weight Fighter also had their own limitations like Smaller Combat radius, Unreliable engines, heavy Mechanical instrumentation and limited Weapons payload.
