What exactly are you trying to convey?
First it's a mirage then it transforms into a YAK 130 when it's the 2 seat trainer N-LCA.

Obviously he's trying to say it's a copy or Russians helped. Coming from a Chinese.

Ok, with Mirage, there are a few similarities, given the delta-wing; but with Yakovlev-130, that is absolutely silly. I hope he sees what the N-LCA and Yakovlev-130 look like from the top.

For Example comparing AMCA deign with F7 ( Copied Mig-21 ) & Now YAK-130 with LCA..

Bah all he is saying is it is just another photo copy.

Unless we START work on IAC 2 Where will N LCA go

Because the 45 odd Mig 29 K will be used by Vikramaditya and IAC 1 ie Vikrant

Hybrid EL/M-2032 radar..

DRDO to co-operate with Israel Aerospace Industries to integrate a Hybrid version of the EL/M-2032 radar for use with Tejas.

EL/M-2032 air-to-air mode has a detection and tracking range of up to 150 km, the air-to-ground mode generates high resolution radar imagery of locations at up to 150 km, and air-to-sea mode can detect and classify naval targets at ranges of up to 300 km

Physical Characteristics
72-100 Kg depending on antenna size.
2-3 KVA. depending on Transmitter configuration.
Antenna Size: adapted to aircraft nose limitations

Engine: General Electric F404-GE-IN20

The F404-GE-IN20 is a variant of F404-GE-402 engine designed to meet the requirements of the Indian Air Force and Navy for the Tejas, formerly LCA, combat aircraft. Modifications introduced into the -IN20 engine include redundant features and an advanced Full Authority Digital Electronic Control (FADEC).

The Indian ADA agency awarded General Electric a $105 million contract in February 2004 for development engineering and production of 17 F404-GE-IN20 engines. The Indian Air Force will take delivery of its first -IN20 engines in 2006. These engines will be used to power low rate (also called limited) production Tejas/LCA aircraft.

General characteristics

* Type: Afterburning turbofan
* Length: 154 in (3,912 mm)
* Diameter: 35 in (889 mm)
* Dry weight: 2,282 lb (1,036 kg)

Maximum thrust:

* 11,000 lbf (48.9 kN) military thrust
* 20,200 lbf (83.2 kN rated ) with afterburner ( http://www.scramble.nl/wiki/index.php?title=General_Electric_F404#F404-GE-IN20)

# Specific fuel consumption:
# Military thrust: 0.81 lb/(lbf·h) (82.6 kg/(kN·h))
# Full afterburner: 1.74 lb/(lbf·h) (177.5 kg/(kN·h))

Naah, he is just making a mockery of Chinese intelligence by underestimating and laughing on a potent Aircraft which is intended to be used again his country.

BTW N-LCA deserves a separate thread in Indian Navy section with N-LCA/ Naval LCA title so it should come up in the google result pages and posts related to it should be moved to such thread.

Vikramaditya will carry 25 Mig-29k in hangers, It can carry additional 11-15 more over deck, But I doubt Ship would carry all Aircraft at once in peace time..

Though Vikramaditya may carry Mix of Fighters that is NLCA and MIG-29K..

ELTA 2052 radar

i had personally calculated it's no of T/R modules & it is around 1110
...]
Doc i heard US had some objections with this radar for us, if IAF selects it then it will become an extremely dangerous fighter i guess :thumb:

US won't allow the sale of the EL/M 2052. It has their T/R modules. Israel can make one here instead, and supposedly that is what is happening.

LRDE has chosen Elbit as a Development Partner for making the AESA for AMCA. Seems like the same radar can go on the LCA.

Replaced with :

LRDE is yet to choose a Development Partner for making the AESA for AMCA. Seems like the same radar can go on the LCA.

Elta and Thales are still in the race I suppose. Elbit is not in it AFAIK.

The LATEST news is that US is loosening Technology control regime
ESPECIALLY for India

US wants to share defence technologies with India: Shapiro | idrw.org
There are some things they won't hand over. They will be more than willing to sell entire systems rather than small, but critical, parts of it. Quite like Russia does for some systems.
