No I have personally never played any Tank Battle games myself. Only games I have played of with reference to "Combat" are Fighter Aircraft and Ship Battle games.

If you want a Game which is more on the realistic side than you should go play DCS. Ace Combat 7 is just a fictional arcade game and nothing else, it does have some real life elements to it but overall DCS is far better if you want to have a Realistic Simulator.

It's not that Ace Combat 7 is having no presence of reality in it. Some of the things from Ace Combat are actually indeed real in real life. The rest is as of now fiction.

I repeat "as of now" the rest is only fiction but might become a reality in the coming decades like maybe in the 2050s +. Ace Combat 7 is very interesting in that sense.
