Don't think it's a replacement for F-16. F-16 and J-10 belong to same class; light medium which is best what PAF has.
They will rather be getting rid of old F7 and Mirages.

Exactly what I have pointed out. F7/Mirages can be replaced by JF17.. They need something to replace F16. J10 fits the bill.

As told before, there is no point in replacing F-16 with J-10 unless it is a highly advanced version. Or PAF remains 40 years behind in technology despite replacing aircraft.
