A week after two SIMI activists shot dead three cops and left another battling for life, Telangana State Police on Tuesday killed five persons who were associated with SIMI and other radical organizations when they allegedly attacked their police escort while being brought to Hyderabad for a court hearing, near Jangaon in Warangal district, 100 kms away from Hyderabad.[Media jihadis trying to imply a fake encounter] Among the dead is Vikaruddin Ahmed, who killed two cops and terrorised them in Hyderabad by targeting them whenever possible.
Warangal Range DIG B Malla Reddy said: "These five were to be produced before the VIIth Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge at Nampally Court in Hyderabad in connection with a 2009 case. The bus carrying them with a heavily armed escort left the Warangal Central jail at 8:40 am. At 10:30 while they were near Jangaon, Vikaruddin requested for a halt as he wanted to answer nature's call.
"Reserve Sub-Inspector Uday Bhaskar took off his handcuffs and took him out and when they returned he was about to handcuff him again when Vikaruddin snatched the AK-56 rifle that the RSI was carrying. However, the RSI managed to pull off the magazine in the scuffle but the four remaining undertrials pounced on two other policemen nearby and tried to snatch their weapons. The other policemen in the bus retaliated and shot them dead,'' DIG Reddy said.
The DIG also said that Vikaruddin and his associates, continuously incited the armed escort by spitting at them, taunting and abusing them as soon as they started from Warangal. The four others dead are Mohammed Zakir, Sayed Hashmat, Izhar Khan and Sulaiman. They all have several aliases.
A former SIMI activist[edit:Look how media jihadis are calling the members of declared terrorist organizations "activists"] and member of the radical social outfit Darsgah Jehad O Shahadat (DJS) Vikaruddin made some daring attacks on police pickets on the anniversaries of Babri Masjid and Mecca Masjid blast. In December 2008, he opened fire and injured three policemen manning a picket near Santoshinagar. On May 18, 2009, he shot dead a Home Guard while on May 14, 2010, he shot dead a constable at Shah Ali Banda. Vikaruddin had started a fringe fundamentalist organization calling itself Tehreek Galba E Islam that has ties with DJS. Police had announced a reward of Rs lakhs for any information on him. He was arrested in July 2010 from the house Dr Mohd Hanif, a sympathizer. Based on information given by him, his brother Sulaiman and three others, who belonged to his organization and helped him in his operations, were arrested.

Apart from the usual media-jihadism we can see how the "5 star activist" jibe of modi's has caught on from this comment on the original article:
Obviously, it is time for the so-called "5star" activists to pop up and claim "innocent terrorists" killed by security personnel. First we have to eliminate these '5star' activists for the safety and integrity of the nation! There should be no compromise in this matter. No threat perception should be tolerated.

While no favours should be dished out to anti-nationals.
I don't believe the police version and strict action should be taken against them.

I believe that it was an extra judicial killing. Same opinion regarding the sandalwood smugglers killing in AP.
I agree. Also see what happens when justice is delayed? People start losing their mind and start justifying stuff which they normally wont justify.

Faux outrage aside, Indian cops are notorious for the following:
Wrongful arrest
Torture
False confession
Encounter deaths

That's why no one believes them even when they may be right - it is a classic case of the boy who cried wolf.
Apply the same principle to anti-national traitors such as yourself. Replace "police" with Jihadi.

So the AP and Telangana police have eliminated 24 people in last two days.

As for me I am glad that AP police have reopened the old playbook which was put on hold due to state division. Sometimes such measures are necessary. I don't mind such practices until any case of misuse comes to the fore. Fully support AP POLICE on this.

Such measures have eliminated gangs from Guntur and Vijaywada before.

Calm down, dude, take a chill pill. Forget about me and focus on the issue. Police brutality is so common in this country, so as a concerned citizen what are you doing about it? Jihadis are not your only problem, in fact, you're far more likely to be killed or tortured by a policeman than by a jihadi. But since your hatred for Muslims knows no bounds, your mind can only focus obsessively on them and not on the people who're causing so much harm to innocent people, namely cops.
You would have been laugh riot and resident clown, were not for your anti-India rants.

I support these "accidental encounters" in limited cases like cattle smugglers , jihadis , anti-national elements etc.
The problem is that most policemen are thick a$$ and will start rampaging against normal people.

But i believe the Telangana Police in this case.

There are some legendary IPS officers who made it possible in the past.

I dont think that is a good thing tbh, police can encounter you or me and claim that we are the smugglers/terrorists responsible for so and so. What will prevent that? But I understand why people support such police encounters- the same reason why I think it is a grey and grey area and not a completely black and white issue - because of the 5 star activists who barge in to help even the actual terrorists to help escape justice. So we become angry at the lax law and order and like it when police do encounters.

Btw, the scumbag politicians here in TN are trying to turn the smuggler encounter issue into a Andhra vs TN issue. :frusty:

Like I said in my post, I have no issue with encounters as long as there are no reports of misuse. Based on what I know AP police do not target anybody without a good reason. There are limits that criminals are not expected to cross, only when they do they are taken for "counselling". It is quite rare that random innocent citizen is targeted, as far as I know.

Last time such encounters happened they happened with senior officers are taken into confidence. Sometimes even CM is kept in loop. There is a approval process in place I believe, they do not just pick up anybody.
