The Fortune Global 500 companies represent the largest companies in the world by revenue.

The US is number one with 128 companies.
China is number two with 98 companies.
No surprise there. However, there are some interesting comparisons.

Taiwan has eight companies on the Fortune Global 500 list. This means Taiwan has more companies with larger revenues than India (7), Brazil (7), or Russia (5).
