how was 2009 for the indian armed forces? we look back to the year that was from the time of the arrival of the first AWACS to the crash of the first SUKHOI MKI how would 2009 shape up in the history books of the armed forces- ayear of major success or failure or a year of stagnation

I feel it was just another year for the IA some ups , some downs
The major ups for the year as per me would be the launch of the arihant & the improvement in the J&K scenario.
the major downs for me would be the failure to resolve the artillery deal this year as well also the increase of naxalite activity.

not new weapons induction in IA,fault grenades and fault insas riles ,no new artillery guns,good for nothing babaus will not let it mordenise
