Type 055 is more of an Arleigh Burke Flight IIA / III equivalent. VLS load 96 vs 112 is similar although Type 055 can pack bigger missiles. AN SPY 6 has a far superior radar but Type 055 can perform Carrier Flag Ship role like Ticonderoga Class. US DDGX on the other hand, despite looking...

PLAN is using an older design by their own Admiral's admission. https://digital-commons.usnwc.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1004&context=cmsi-maritime-reports The Zumwalt has an electric drive which will allow for lasers, more powerful radars and performance...

    Chinese Navy Destroyers

Their best ships are at best comparable to an Arleigh Burke Flt IIA. Compare what the Zumwalt Class brings to the table in comparison to what the PLAN have. DDG-Next is a generation ahead of what's on the anvil for Chinese now. India too is working on a P-18 NGD which will join us by the late...

    Chinese Navy Destroyers

You dumb chink, US many times makes a limited series production of a vessel as a technology demonstrator and then mass produces a new class of vessels. For e.g. the Seawolf Class submarine was produced to only no.s 3 but the Virginia Class derived from there has scores in service. Zumwalt has...

    Chinese Navy Destroyers

Unlike Amerimutts , Sand ******s, Paki ******s and Baby Eating Chink Gook Fucks, truth is a prevalent quantity in us Indians. Type 055 is an Arleigh Burke class vessel. Zumwalt is a true next generation design. It is better to sweat in peacetime than to bleed in war.

    Chinese Navy Destroyers

You dumb chink, I was talking about. The LSC (Large Surface Combatant). The program that is going to commence 2024-25. It is a next generation cruiser and has 80 VLS cells as peripheral with ability to add 100 more if the 155 mm guns are removed. The power generation is designed for a railgun...

    Chinese Navy Destroyers

You do realize that this will be obsolete in 5 years with the new US LSC class coming out based on the Zumwalt Class and the SPY 6 AMDR architecture. Indian destroyers with 16x BrahMos missiles outgun this vessel although the Type 055 has really good SAM capabilities using HHQ 9B naval variants.

Only vessels in the world with enough power generation aka juice for the railguns are ACs and DDG 1000.
