Why can't we use astra missile as surface-to-missile? Because it has range of 100km with mach 4 speed. And why can't we use R-37 missile motor for SAM because it has speed of mach 6 and range of 150-400 km ?

That means our missile consumes more fuel goes less speed and range that of aster 30 which is almost 30-40% less weight and 50% more speed.....

Our akash is 720 kg and range is 25-30 add km with mach 3 speed But Aster30 french SAM is 450kg but witha range of 100+ km with mach 4.5 speed.. Can't our drdo can find out what is used in their propulsion so we can use in our SAM's right?
