ATAGS & M777 are both of different category. Range of ATAGS are significantly higher than M777. Watch out for Ultra Light Gun from Kalyani which should be ready for trials by Oct-18 which will be comparable to M777 with 30% cheaper.

What is the Range of G-5 towed howitzer ? Wiki says Standard range is just 30 km. Even Dhanush has higher Range. ATAGS will be even longer range.
