    Not only NSV and Browning H-2, IA has deployed 14.5 mm KPVT and 23 mm ZU-23s also in bunkers along LOC. Even old Vijayanta and T-55 tanks are also used as pillboxes with their 105 mm guns firish HESH rounds in bunker busting roles.

    It seems both BEL and OFB has got TOT of RCWS from El-bit systems (Israel). While BEL is using NSVT in it, OFB is using Browning H-2 for its RCWS.

    IA do use some NSVT's along the LAC. Recently BEL has introduced a RCWS version of this gun. Though mainly intended for armoured vehicles, but it can be installed in LOC bunkers.

    There is. But this can be circumvented in 2 ways: 1. Use of advanced next generation propellants. 2. Increasing the length of each rocket, while keeping the diameter constant. In this case, top of the rocket will stick out more from the launcher casette, than teh current Pinaka.

    The SMPP vest was ordered in 2018. Before that testing took place, where MKU did not meet the requirement.The order will take 3 years to complete. Hence by the end of this year, the order should be complete. However, MKU alleges that they also meet the tender requirement, but lost out on price...

    SMPP bullet proof vest (as per GSQR 1438) that was ordered in 1.86 lac quantity. New Bhabha Kavach design (which is likely to be ordered next after SMPP order is delivered. Another design from young Army major. It can withstand Dragunov sniper hits from close ranges.

    The Trishul guy makes stories up in his blog. Not at all trustworthy. Only thing he does, is the take pictures from DRDO publications, websites, magazines and defence shows and watermark them. Nothing else.
