Bhai its only for the issue that INSAS cant kill. Rest doctrine of having 5.56 is well explained by so many posts.

At defexpo stalls of DRDO, when ask why Army says INSAS dont kill, they said they are aiming wrong, aim for skull and then see if target survive or not. I also say why Army use BPJ on vital parts, because they are expected to survive non vital parts, if bullet hit them.
