DRDO sets another deadline for indigenous Kaveri engine

Because they have reviewed Kaveri and remarked that it is 75% complete, and that within 18-24 months the engine would be ready for flight testing.

They didn't let tejas fly on kaveri back then because......................................."it wasn't ready".
