Flutter and screech issue has been resolved. I will go with sourav jha words on it. If safran has certified it for limited envelope fight it means the engine usage use has been resolved. Thrust equivalent to f404 or f414 is just chest beating propaganda.

You are quoting 2011 article.Snecma deal is cancelled.They just tried to fool us by promising to put snemca core in kaveri engine which is more or less snecma engine itself. This was dropped.Lot of water has flown afterwards. Nowdays there is a talk of Using MIG 29 as test bed for testing...
