Before liberation and pvtization of indian economy we used to hear the same sob stories from govt white elephants. But after a few hiccups every thing went smoothly. HAL along with Air India and BSNL is just the last of the govt white elephants.

Can we have a list of changes demanded ( just or unjust) by IAF during development of LCA. How many of them were placed after finalization of specs for IOC or FOC ? Was there any limit mutually decided by all concerned party for development of LCA ? Why 7 years was taken to move from IOC to FOC ?

Really..So what changes were asked by IAF which forced HAL/ADA to slow down the development ! They took 6-7 years to move from IOC to FOC. Who was at fault. ?

You want IAF to induct a Jet which does not even exist ! How about HAL making some real planes and handing them over to IAF as well !
