Galaxy, the Astra seeker is still imported (There was news that home made was tested, and performance is ......:) (don't ask for sources please)), I am merely pointing towards the seekers now available with us (IIR and MMW), and now we have tech to make them smaller too, which we should be able...

So, the efforts are on to increase the range, and make the missile more efficient, MMW seeker is here, IIR seeker is tested, with this new SOC concept they can try to make dual mode seeker. Way to go.
