You have to take into account the length of sub below the waterline also .

Akula does have diving planes , retractable ones .... not on the sail but on the hull itself

The sub on top is Akula while the one below is Arihant. ^^^^^ On second look the sub on top looks like Arihant Class but with signal flags indicating a launch of sub ...... :)

Its 83MWt ....... The general rule is that MWt is 3 times MWe for most reactors . Even the latest Russian sub feature only a 200MWt reactor.

Nirbhay test from Arihant most probabaly will be false reporting . SLCM variant being first test fired from the Arihant even before from a submerged pontoon or other vessel is too much to believe ........ or else they have tested it secretly before .

Sub may be long but the hump is not that long enough to accomodate more silos IMO .
