    U.S stryker is also STANAG level 2a. maybe they can be uparmoured, if need arises. there is a weight penalty on payload with up armouring as well.

    if precedents are an indicator, the whole tender will fail if ATGM fails in the trails, then there will be re-tendering for vehicle separate, turret separate and atgm separate. 2031 will become 2041.

    i think we can sum it up like this, IA had asked for a modular WHeeled Armoured Platform in their GSQR, they got it. public commentary on missing XYZ components is moot, because there are going to lots of variants based on this platform in coming decades. IPMV is showcasing the modularity.

    there Is a recent DAC approval for GS (weight category not mentioned) vehicle procurement. we haven’t seen safari and Scorpio in western sector, perhaps Force Gurkha will replace gypsy. this is unless Tata and Mahindra team up and spoil the tender process.

    May be it's too heavy... 11 KG... but then again new belt fed LMG is also 9.3 KG. then i remembered Negev LMG deal was also supposed to happen, whatever happened to that. :hehe: MoD is trolling us....
