Type has displacement of 13k tons vs Zumwalt is 14k tons ..Type 55D has 112 VLS vs Zumwalt has 80 VLS The difference may come in the Advanced gun system in the Zumwalt and also on the Radar and Anti ship defence systems and the radars Which i am sure the Zumwalt may be ahead of Type 55D ...

@J20! Congratulations china ..Type 55D launched ..13000 Tons 112 VLS wow this one is right up there with the USS Zumwalt class destroyers .. 4 ships first phase and another 4 to complete by 2022 PLAN is going to really challenge the USN in any battle any where in the 7 seas..
