that's because of democracy without deep state. so forget about US. why should some shop keeper get the right to vote to decide indirectly who would be the minister of defence of the country. why should some enginner guy decide indirectly who should be in the ministry of health. my argument...

yes metallury makes a huge difference. for example. be it the grain density of metal grains or the grain sizes. smaller the grain size = more brittle. higher the grain density = more hardness. the forces per 2 grains decides the toughness factor of a metal too. gun metals should have high...

    no L 7 is 105mm L11 is 120mm. what i said was DRDO might have developed 120mm rifled by observing L7 105mm.

long story short, abrams = opening batsmen = heavy hitter = "best batsman" but it ain't got no bowling and wicket keeping knowledge. T-90 series = middle order batsmen = play calm and smooth. (recommendation candidate of MBTs :troll: ) MBT Arjun = all-rounder = isn't particularly good in...

no. not at all PCB is only used for multi layered spaced bunkers and thin armoured vehicles like BMPs and american bradleys without ERA. HESH for single layered mud and brick bunkers. found in thousands across rajasthan, punjab and kashmir regions. TB against infantry in open spaces. HEAT...

it seems it can run on low end PC. but the full version game seems to available only on their patreon. they first released free trail version to check it out, on steam i guess. the game is gunner Heat.

pretty much yes. except 1200mm (left side) + 1200mm(right side excluding the sight part) + 540-576mm ( the sight part)

best crew voices so far. better than world of tanks and war thunder.

no. smoothbores generally made for only 2 types, APFSDS and HEAT.

HESH doesn't ricochet. it is a plastic, deforming critical pressure explosive. HEAT uses fins. so no spin induced ricochet. HE is used against bunkers not tanks. so no question of ricochet. PCB used against bunkers and light vehicles. so no question of ricochet. TB Thermobaric used in open areas...

different types of steels were used in making most of the armour including armour behind sight. i calculated the length of behind the sight to be ~ 450 to 480 mm. DMR 1700 steel is used against RHA steel. DMR 1700 steel has 20 % better performance than standard RHA. so lets interpolate it...

    Indian Army T- 90 (Bhishma) and T- 72 (M-1) Tanks

APFSDS rounds don't spin, even when fired from rifled barrel. that's the point. "fin stabilised". you are stabilising with fins, not by spinning. you are talking about ww2 and pre cold war shells that have spin induced ricochet. you can't increase the chamber pressure for any gun without...

yes but rheinmetall guns used by abrams, challenger, leopards have 3 times the life of arjun. meaning 6 times the life of indian T-90 guns.

yes. the FSAPDS MK1 penetrator was actually made for 105mm gun. so ~ 300mm pen at 2km is actually decent for a 105mm gun . even abrams M1 with 105 mm gun fired apfsds with 310mm pen at 2km. OFB used the same penetrator and fit it into discarding sabots of 120mm total diameter.

maybe because it has its derivations from british L7 105 mm gun used on vijayanta. and russia wouldn't give 125mm gun TOT. so DRDO might have studied the 105mm rifled gun and made a 120mm rifled gun. because L7 was also manufactured in India. so OFB had the tech for 105mm gun. arjun MK1 with L7...

so finally you accept that even Arjun MK1 has better frontal protection than leopard 2a4. of course the newer leopards have L55 instead of previously L44. which can fire better rounds with 750mm or greater pen at 2km

    Indian Army T- 90 (Bhishma) and T- 72 (M-1) Tanks

it can have a non-russian style autoloader for 125 mm smoothbore gun with single piece of ammunition. that would give it a chance to design apfsds with 1000mm RHA pen at 2km.
