Superb post there. Basically there is a clear army requirement of an armoured jeep for COIN, which is getting some roadblock or the other. We need a vehicle which is bigger and more powerful than Gypsy and Rakshak, but smaller than Aditya or Casspir.

Another one is Sri Lakshmi defence, who has made the "Sherpa" bullet proof vehicle in service with Gujarat's Chetak Commandos: ....................

I am eagerly waiting to see LSV on ground in Kashmir. Imagine all these jugaad gypsies and rakshaks replaced by the purpose built and factory armoured LSVs. Having said that don't expect Aditya Mpv and Takshak to be replaced by LSV.
