I don't think I have seen any evidence of it. A possible explanation is that the Viky was never meant to have Harriers embarked so the deck hasn't been treated for the extremely hot exhaust gases from the Harrier.

Bro, I am very much looking foreward to making such a vid (should the footage become availble), that was one thing I was disappointed about- in this vid all the pilots and pretty much the entire crew are Russian and not Indian.

Soooo true!!! The IN has spent all that money on BPJs and helmets, side arms (and had the foresight) to equip them only to give them such vintage weapons!! I wouldn't be too surprised though if we did see new weapons in their hands sometime soon.
