I hoped for Tavor 7. Where as CAR 817 didn't find victory inBattle Rifle competition, in Carbine they won as L1 with CAR 816

What I do understand is 7.62*51 mm is for Infantry, a costlier gun, deadly whereas non infantry to get7.62*39 mm, cheaper, good fire power and being lighter magazine will allow to carry more ammo

If IMI isn't shortlisted, then Galil ACE 52 isn't coming. Another reason why it is not selected, OFB R2 is on par with ACE 52. So they decided to select least contriversials. Now,question is, Can we procure so huge no of Tavor 7? Can we bear the huge cost?

The three possible finalists are Tavor 7 (IWI+ Punj Llyod : Israel) Car 817 (Caracel +Thales + MKU : UAE ) K2-C2 (S&T Motiv + Reliance : RoK )

"Made In India under categorisation of Buy and Make Indian" This is the biggest mystery.... What does it mean? 1) Is there going to be a Single Rifle platform rather two different for Infantry and Non infantry? 2) No foreign rifle only INDIAN one? 3) If so then OFB 7.62*51 coming ? Why no...
