Good news! This project seems to be plodding along, though. For the last launch in April 2023, a scaled down version of what was tested in May/2016 was flown, and that vehicle was itself a 1:5 version of the final intended rocket, which is supposed to be a space shuttle type vehicle. Let's hope...

Both Economic Times and Wikipedia suggest that Shukrayaan may be launched this coming year. ET is more directly asserting that it will be 2024, whereas Wiki mentions that there are 2 launch windows, one in 2024, the next in 2031.

Will the PSLV XPoSAT mission carry any secondary payloads/ satellites. 455 kg ( weight of Xposat ) seems rather small for the PSLV

Right, so ISRO was making these tanks in house( or with industry help) but did not produce many of them. Only when needed. The way it is written sounds like they have been imported all along, which can't be right.

I thought those tanks, or some type of tank, was made by ISRO for many years. Is it a media misunderstanding.
